I had a plan to get a lot done
late yesterday afternoon
but I quickly abandoned all plans.
We had to pick Ria up from school
and then
Mama's Boy stopped by with
little CJK.
As soon as they ate he could not
wait to get
OUHTSYDE.
What's out there?
Why all the RIDERS, of course.
PAPA! RIDE!
BEACH-PAPA-BEACH
Why mow grass when you can drive in the water?
When Ria FINALLY gets a turn to ride
CJK takes a little walk-with Daddy not to far behind.
He leaves the beach to check the playhouse and
discovers another
OLD RIDE
in there.
(my goal is to reline this now that I have removed the old liner)
He only rides long enough to get to the
FRONT YARD
so he can get back on the tractor with Papa.
I think he is a little nervous when
Papa starts backing up!
Soon, it is time to go home.
He does NOT like to leave Nana's house.
He might get a little reprieve because
he will ride home with Daddy.
AND
WHERE IS Daddy?
THERE HE IS!
Enjoying a LITTLE ride of his own!
Diana, I will give it to you, you will tease them all. LOL ..does your son see your blog. That baby is adorable. You know that little one. :):) Some times our plans get changed but are fun , just the same. Blessings for a great day, xoxo,Susie

oh how wonderful to live so close to water that you can ride your mower to it. Love the look on his face when backing up. how cute!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying the moment- that's the most important thing to do! Looks like fun- I never though about riding a lawn mower along the waters edge but I can imagine how fun it would be especially for the kids! Great memories!
ReplyDeleteIt WAS a beautiful day yesterday...I would have liked a ride in the water!
ReplyDeleteDeb
never a dull moment around that place, is there!:)
ReplyDeleteHehehehe. Love that last shot! And the others are too cute. What is it with kids and riding lawn mowers! Our grands love to even just sit on the thing when it's not even running. But the 10 year old loves driving it. Thinks he's in heaven! (He'll soon outgrow that when he learns that it's work.)
ReplyDeleteAwww, what fun! Of course, riding on the beach and in the water is more fun than cutting the grass! Papa is a great sport and super Papa! Yes, you're in trouble alright! Fun memories!
ReplyDeleteLOL- yeah, you might get it for that one. Looks like a fun day there. No wonder you have trouble getting things done.
ReplyDeleteLOL! It is our job as parents to embarrass our children, Diana. No matter how old they get! : )
ReplyDeleteYour son gets his sense of humor from you! The grandson gets his cuteness from you!
ReplyDeleteLove those photos. Yes, you will probably get an 'Oh Mom' out of that picture.
ReplyDeleteToo adorable ( glad to hear Ria got her ride too ! )
ReplyDeleteIs that an old wicker pram?

ReplyDeleteI love the look on his face when he is 'driving' the tractor, pure enjoyment. His Daddy looks like he is enjoying himself too; they never really grow up!!!
ReplyDeletewhen a grand doesn't want to leave his grandparents, well, life doesn't get any better than that, does it:) enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood reason to abandon work plans...spending time with your beautiful grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteOh my, how fun! Can I go for a ride in the water too? I remember when I lived in Canada my dad would drive in the mini van along the beach and my 7 year old heart would panic that we were going to sink into the lake. Good times. . . :) Hugs to you, Diana!
ReplyDeleteWell I must say I've never seen a John Deere lawn mower riding the waves, Diana! Too funny. It is so good to see little CJK happy and healthy. He is just darling! And I have a feeling his Daddy needs a bigger bike:)

ReplyDeleteFun times!! I bet you love living so close to the water. It looks very relaxing. All boys seem to love mower rides, don't they? Mine actually LIKE mowing the yard now that they have a riding mower. :)
ReplyDeleteMaking memories with Papa! what can be better?
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a riding mower, but wheel barrows are fun for toting the g'kids.
Oh there is nothing like living near the water, it must feel like you are on vacation 24/7 (except in the winter when the everything is ice and snow of course)

My "grandkids" love to ride on the lawnmower tractor when he is out on it. They laugh and smile. Good fun!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see a photo of that water I'm amazed, you have waves?
ReplyDeleteYour Grands are so cute, I can totally understand the allure of water and tractor.
Thank you so much for the kind words, and prayers.
