It is one of the miracles of life to me
that someone can be so sick one day
that you fear for them
and the next day they are sent home.
We are so very, very grateful
to EVERYONE that prayed for our boyo.
A special THANKS to
Lauren from Simply LKJ
for responding to God's nudge to contact us
AND
THANK YOU to Kristin
for writing about the trial her little Grayson
went through with Kawasaski Disease
Without this information we don't know what
would have happened to CJK before they
figured out what was wrong with him.
Praise God!
He is not able to walk yet so give us one more
prayer that he "finds his feet" soon.
Otherwise-
Today he is sitting up and eating some of
Nana's Spaghetti!
Oh- Look!
Hellloooooooooo- Your MOUTH is to your right!
I really don't think he is MY blood relation
because I can ALWAYS find my mouth!
ps-Is that the cutest brown-eyed baby boy
you've ever seen?
No need to answer if you have one of your own!

ReplyDeleteThis is the best post ever! So glad he's home. It's always amazing how fast kids rebound from being sick. My son had hernia surgery at age 3 and was literally jumping on the bed within hours. G-d forbid a husband had such a surgery. They would be in bed for a week complaining!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that cute face

So glad your little guy is doing better. My son's classmate had the same scare 3 years ago but is doing just fine today. It is so awesome someone in the blog world was able to reach out and get the proper diagnosis. it's a tough one!
ReplyDeleteBe sure to get your little guy on a reputable probiotic to help his gut flora following the heavy duty antibiotic. So essential for development since our guts are connected to our brains.
You should also check out Juice Plus+ which is whole food nutrition from a variety of 26 vine-ripened fruits and veggies that provide so many antioxidants that will help him continue to recover.
It is in capsules (it could be sprinkled in a drink) or chewables.
