I go to meet the girls in my favorite place,
STARBUCKS.
The girls have beat me there and already
have their drinks in hands.
Me: Hey-Sweet Cheeks-
That's a cute shirt.
Let me see it!
Me: Back up a little bit-you're too close-
my camera won't even focus.
SCheeks: How's this?
Me: Back up a little bit more
so I can READ it!
Me:That is SO true, SweetCheeks!
Girls CAN change the world.
Even I can change the world!
SweetCheeks: No you can't, Nana!
Me:Why not?
SCheeks: Cuz you are NOT a girl-
GIRLS are really smart.
AND YOU
are OLD and a Nana.
Me: Oh, Yeah?
Note: She's still smiling
Me: Guess what, SweetCheeks?
SCheeks: What?
Me: At least I'm smart enough to pick
the cup with MY OWN name on it!
SCheeks....Pfffffffffftttttt
A perfect way to start my Monday! Off to fill another cup of coffee!

ReplyDeleteTell her that once you are a girl, you are always a girl, no matter how old you are!
This is a comment from someone calling herself "Georgia Girl" but of course, I do so because it just SOUNDS better! Alliteration, don't you know, can't be bothered to see if that is how you spell it! HA!
