I never got to my friend's house
yesterday.
My son called me late at night
on his way home from the
ER with little CJK.
Double ear infection.
Temperature.
Not feeling well.
Poor baby.
He needed Nana for a day.
He usually goes to day care
so this is only the 2nd time
I have ever had him for
the day.
Usually, if he is not feeling well,
Mom or Dad rearranges
their schedule to stay home with him.
That wasn't going to work today.
So...
I got him!
In spite of not feeling well
he ate pretty good.
SweetCheeks says it looks like
he has screw on hands. LOL
Did you ever notice what it says on
a Cheerio's box?
I sometimes take things literally.
Okay, Kid!
You gonna eat all those Cheerios?
Look what's waiting for you.
Yes...Yes...That's RIGHT!
PILATES!
Get at it!
Work those calories off!
Back helping my friend, Ruthie,
today. I might show you a
few treasures tomorrow..
Now...
Get at those
PILATES!
he has screw on hands. LOL

ReplyDeletePrecious, I just bet Nana made everything better!!!
ReplyDeleteLucky little one to get to stay with you for the day. He's adorable! Hope his ear infections are better, poor little thing.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Diana, CJ is a cutie. They always love coming to grandma's house. You never know what kids will say. Have fun helping your friend today. I know it is hard for her to decide what to keep and what to sell. I know I would have a hard time. Give your little ones an extra hug. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteAwww.... poor little guy! I hope his ears are better. And I kind of think they are because he looks too happy to be sick!
ReplyDeleteAw, poor little fella. What a sweetie. And so funny what SC said. lol
ReplyDeleteSweet, sweet baby! So sorry he wasn't feeling well. How lucky he has Nana around! xo Nellie

Oh, sweet baby boy. Having a double ear infection is no fun at all, but having a Nana to take care of him is always a comfort to help with the healing.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to look at my Cheerios box. :-) Thanks for the smiles.
Hee, hee my Pilates instructor is out of town! :D
ReplyDeletePoor little guy. I hope he never needs tubes!
Oh, what a sweetie. I know he had a super day with you, even sick! Gotta love those little sweet hands. So dear!
ReplyDeleteOh he has the sweetest chubbiest cheeks and wrists.
ReplyDeletePraying for his quick recovery - ear pain hurts a LOT.
Hugs.

He sure doesn't look sick. Hope they can get on top of those nasty ear infections and get them gone for good. Shame on you, Nana, for making a sick boy work off his smile. LOL
ReplyDeleteHe is getting so big. Love the screw on hands. That girl's brain is constantly in motion.
I'm sorry your sweet little cutie pie was feeling bad. Poor little guy, hope he's much better today. He should be if he ate his cheerios! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Diana, he is so sweet! Poor baby, I hope he's feeling better now. Our little one, who we will see tomorrow! loves little puff cereal pieces. I don't think she's quite into Pilates yet though. Which leaves you more exhausted though, this kind of day or a day helping a friend get ready to sell?
ReplyDeletePoor little guy...Nana love sure agrees with him!
ReplyDeletehe looks so sweet. hope he feels better soon
ReplyDeleteI hope that adorable bundle of love feels better today. I love the screw on hands comment! lol I always loved kissing my kids' chubby hands & wrists.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that he was so sick! I have been through both of my kids having high temps and ear infections which resulted in tubes in their ears. No fun! Glad he's in good hands with his Nana.
ReplyDeleteHi there, I'm so sorry the little guy has ear infections. Our grandson-9 mos, is teething and pulling on his ear-so my girl talked to her mil and sure enough he is acting just like his dad did when he had ear infections. I'm glad you were able to have him. Hope you have a wonderful evening and great Friday.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen
Has to do Pilates even when he's sick..You're tough..
ReplyDeleteWe often keep our great nephew Jordan when he's not feeling well.
ReplyDeleteHe's a little fussy at times, but he's always a joy to have around.

There is nothing more healing than a Nana's love.I know because I had one!
ReplyDeleteDottie
Sweet, Diana! I'm sure you enjoyed your time with your precious baby!~~Angela
ReplyDeletep.s. I still love cheerios! :)
They always get sick in the middle of the night, right, when no other dr is available? And the inner ear at that point is like a VOLCANO. I think we went to the Er about 3-4 times with my oldest alone, always ended up being the ears.
ReplyDeleteThank God for nanas like you!!
ReplyDeleteAW....hate to hear little ones aren't feeling well. Sounds like Gramma was just the cure he needed :)
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, what a little sweetie. I hope he feels better soon. With nana's care ~~ that is the best medicine.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at your friends.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
