As you know,
I believe in fairies...
I think they are some of
God's little angels...
although I couldn't find
that part in the Bible....
Thursday morning~
we awoke to a world kissed by
Fairy Dust
~some of you may call it snow~
Looking out the window I see this...
(the blue vertical line holds a
bird feeder at the end)
And this....
And this....
The Cherub-Before And After
THE BIG SNOW
Do you see the cherub there...
surrounded by snow
and lit by sparkling lights?
He's way at the base
hidden in his little snow world.
The fairies will visit this
sweet little place when
Spring comes to Green Bay.
It's a cold beauty right now but the
Winter Fairies love it....
I see them flitting around
out there from time to time.
Yes. I. Do.
The other "fairy" that has been
visiting us lately is the
ToothFairy.
Here is the one I have.....
He's darling, isn't he?
(Not my image-but my fairy)
He's the one that comes to visit
in the depths of night when you
lose a tooth....
IF YOU ARE GOOD.
Not so good?
Well- HERE is YOUR tooth fairy!
Makes you want to stay on the
Straight and Narrow,
doesn't it????
Have a fairy nice day!
Isn't snow just beautiful when you don't have to go out in it lol?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the tooth fairy - which is how it's supposed to be and you've gone and blown ( both ) their covers, shame on you Diana!!!
I always thought the fairy was a pretty lady!
XOX
Ah, a big bad tooth fairy, me thinks he's the one who pulls them, when you refuse.
ReplyDeleteI'm grabbing just a few minutes of Internet Cafe time since my Internet and Email are still down. I just wanted to send you my thoughts and prayers for the loss of your brother. Charlie truly sounded like an amazing person and is probably staying quite busy providing laughter and smiles to his heavenly family.
ReplyDeleteYour snow scene is gorgeous, Diana! Fairies are so much easier to see in such a lovely wintery setting. Your little "grands" are so adorable. Given the freedom, children always seem to find "fun," and skating in Nana's basement looks like they found it!
The Valentine crafting that you set up for those little cuties was perfect. What could be better than glue and glitter -- well, maybe your homemade caramels!
I hope to be back up and running by next week. It will be nice to be back in touch with my Bloggie Friends!
Hugs,
Carol
What a lovely scene indeed - perfect for fairies! I KNEW I was't the only one who thinks fairies are actually little angels.
ReplyDeleteIt's magic ... snow makes everything beautiful! Sending hugs your way Diana ... I was so sorry to read about your brother and I'll be praying for you all.
ReplyDeleteI would love some snow this winter, but that rarely happens in these parts. I love the pictures. Have I said that I am so happy you are back? xo
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful outside. We have been blessed with lots of snow and winter adventures this season. Your charming little house always brings a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteThat dude would scare me to death , I would want to be angel to avoid an encounter with him.............ack!
ReplyDeleteLol....Oh crazy Aunt Diana! What a hoot you are! Your snowfall is beautiful....I wake up every morning just waiting to hear a robin....won't be much longer I hope.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Amanda from PA

Diana, When the snow is fresh and everyone is safe at home...it's pretty. Yikes that big old toothfairy would make me want dentures.:):)xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chuckle, Diana! Are you planning to bring the girls' playhouse when you sell?
ReplyDeleteSnow makes everything magical! Hugs, Penny
ReplyDeleteWow, it does look like a magical fairy land where you live, Diana! I think that big smoking fairy must live in your playhouse, right?! The snow sure is pretty, but I don't miss it! It's gonna a chilly here today, in the low 50's, brr!!!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful. It was like that here yesterday.....the other fairy.....where do you find these, hah.
ReplyDeleteSnow is beautiful, but you can keep it LOL. Thanks for the eye candy at the end of your post LOL!Sending you hugs Diana.
ReplyDeleteThat first little fairy is darling. No comment on the second. I love the light coming through the snow.
ReplyDeleteThe fairy dust is beautiful! And I think that tooth fairy is an imposter. I think the tooth fairy is really a girl. Or - do you suppose there is more than one? There are several garden fairies.
ReplyDeleteLast week it snowed for ONE DAY and then the next day it was gone. It was sooo gorgeous. I'm a Cali Girl and can't drive in the stuff, but I sure do LOVE to see it fall from the sky. Looked like puffs of cotton. HUGE FLAKES. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteI love Fairies dressed all in white!
xoRebecca
Good Morning Diana, I love your snow pictures. That is my favorite when they cling to the branches. Enjoy your fairyland I just enjoyed looking. I am staying home today. Stomach upset I think it is the nerves and stress not taking any chances. Tooth fairies ah yes, I had that discussion with my youngest grandson last night. I spent time with them enjoyable. Have a wonderful weekend. Many Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteThere is magic all over your yard....beautiful snow.
ReplyDeleteJen
I never heard snow referred to as Fairy Dust! I wonder what the snow plow drivers think of that!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures and the last one just too funny! Happy Saturday!

Jane
Diana, you run with a tough bunch!
ReplyDeleteWho is he...The Root Canal King???
Your fairy snow/winter wonderland is incredible! I'm in awe of how beautiful it is.
xo, T.
I definitely would rather NOT have a hairy chested tooth fairy :)
ReplyDeleteLove your fairy-well, not the hairy one at the end.
ReplyDeleteDare I ask where you finding all these hairy burly guys-
never mind, I don't want to
know-LOL
Gorgeous photos, love your sweet little angel. We are getting some flakes here...hope it sticks!

Cindy
Hi Diana,
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe that those little fairies so exist and they flit around and play little games when no one is watching.
I love the pretty snow too but only to look at and enjoy.
I'm glad I was never visited by the mean fairy, he sure is nasty looking.
hugs
Sissie
Very pretty. Our snow is pretty much gone, but we have some ice hanging around. Don't love that.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you about the fairies! Your snow covered cherub arrangement is so cute! As you know I get plenty of snow here too but I'm always intrigued with the artful way it can make things look!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the first fairy !!
ReplyDeleteso,so, so pretty! not much of that out our way...maybe because it's 81 today...but that's just a guess! ;}
ReplyDeletem ^..^

That Tooth Fairy looks like he'd yank your teeth right out of your mouth for you. Your sweet little fairy on the porch looks much sweeter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow fall!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds as though someone has been losing some teeth! Would that be SweetCheeks?
xo Nellie
Oh my...so much snow! It was in the 70's here today... warm....Thanks for stopping by my blog to say hi!
ReplyDeleteStop posting pictures of all these handsome men. You're making me jealous! lol The snow is so pretty but I'm starting to long for spring already.
ReplyDeleteI think you should throw out that big, hairy, smoking tooth fairy and let me move into the fairy house...I am short and wide and l can flutter my wings from side to side...wink...laugh...roll eyes...I would love to see the inside of that beautiful little house.
ReplyDeletehugs to you my friend
Yikes, it's the "straight and narrow" path of me! Your fairy dust is lovely! We haven't had a single snow last year of this year! :( I do remember your kind offer to have it trucked in though! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGood Lord! If I see that ugly "Bad Fairy" around here I will tie him up with my dental floss. Looks like he needs it.
ReplyDeleteI will fill you in later but we will NOT be moving to the land of white fairy dust anytime soon.
Have a blessed day, Ginger
"Fairy" nice post I love the snow and the way that the lights by the cherub are shining through it! SO pretty! I'm staying away from the tooth fairy in the last picture. He does not look too happy or friendly! LOL! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteDiana,
ReplyDeleteI can not believe you live surrounded by all this beauty! I feel the fairies all around in this snow of yours. Your sweet fairy is sooo cute! You know how much I love them, don't you? Oh, I want to someday wake up and open my front door to a blanket of snow - how glorious that would be. Beautiful pictures, Diana. Have a wonderful week.
~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
Hi Diana, You live in a wonderland of beauty in white. The snow fairies must have really enjoyed their visit. Not the tooth fairy, He looks icky!
ReplyDeleteYour pics are just gorgeous.
Have a wonderful snowday.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
I love fairies too and I truly believe they live in every garden that is loved by its owner. They are magical creatures, aren't they?
