What?
Our SweetCheeks?
On Broadway?
Well....Here's the SIGN!
Ah-Well then-
You DO KNOW that other cities
besides NYC have streets
called Broadway, right?
Most of you know our
little SweetCheeks
was just on the cover of a
local magazine
(here) promoting
our old downtown area called...
Any guesses?
Broadway!
They had a beautiful, magical
night downtown.
Guess WHO was asked
to be a
LIVE WINDOW MODEL.
Any guesses? Anyone?
There she is in
an upscale furnishings store.
Pictures are not the greatest-
they are taken through
showroom windows.
Here she is paired up with
MissN. This is where
she spent most of the
evening.
This was the pose she held
for most of the 3 hours.
Here they are taking a
break and getting a snack.
After the evening was over
I asked her how she liked
being a
LIVE MODEL.
Nana, she said,
All that smiling is a lotta work!
Wow!
She is just like her Nana!
That's what I've been saying
for 37 years of married life.
Billboards are going up
this week and I will get
some pictures of them
for you.
Have a wonderful day!
LOL- that is just so cool! Love that kid! I hope she is enjoying all this fun she is getting to have. Of course, you were there to make faces at her through the window!
ReplyDeleteOh she is just adorable and how fun for her. Hugs, Marty

This is fantastic! (And so funny, your smiling face through your married years!)
ReplyDeleteAnd when Sweet Cheeks wins her first Oscar, I hope she thanks all the little people who saw her first on her Nana's blog! HA! I will be thrilled! xx
(Hey, I went to school with Holly Hunter and I always said she would win an Oscar! See, I'm never wrong! Ask my husband!)
She is such a sweetie. I remember learning very young that it takes more muscles to frown than smile, and I have been smiling ever since. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteShe's a natural Diana!! Sooooo cute and so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI knew Sweet Cheeks was destined for fame! She is adorable, I cant imagine being a live model at an age when keeping still is akin to torture lol. She is a special little girl.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girl! You must be so proud! This post was so sweet! Enjoyed it! Roxie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and she is so photogenic that I can see why she was chosen.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Broadway in our little town, too.
What fun! She is adorable! I know you are so proud!
ReplyDeleteShe is just so very, very sweet! I admire her for being able to withstand those long hours of staying put at such a young age!
ReplyDeleteI love me some sweet cheeks. She is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that is so cool! SweetCheeks is a natural!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, aren't you the proud Nana.... She is a little angel and it's quite an honor.
ReplyDeleteWow, she makes a great model! It's hard to find kids that have the look, personality and discipline to do that kind of work and she pulled it off to perfection. Did you stand outside for all that time telling everyone she belonged to you? lol ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteOur main street is Broadway as well. That Sweet Cheeks is going to be famous. She has already gotten an early start. How did she ever do that window for 3 hours. What a girl. You have to be so proud of her.
ReplyDeleteHow totally adorable. And you write so well to boot.
ReplyDeleteDi,
ReplyDeleteI told you what Sweetcheeks will be like. A
A go getter. Like her Grandmother.
Awesome.
Love the pictures.
I am so excited for you.
How VERY exciting!!! Can't wait to see more photos of Sweet Cheeks on the billboard!

ReplyDeleteDiane you have to be so very proud of sweet cheeks. She is so adorable. She is such a beautiful little girl!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!! I haven't been on the computer for days and what greets me but Sweet Cheeks beautiful face! I was reading along and laughed aloud when she said "All that smiling is a lot of work!" Bob wanted to know what I was laughing about. I told him it something my "proxy granddaughter" said. She is some little jewel. I was thinking about knowing her...when! Several other people had my same thoughts about her illustrious future.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Sweet Cheeks with us.
Love and Blessings to you and Sweet Cheeks.
Ginger

ReplyDeleteWhat a delight Sweet Cheeks is! She is so adorable and says the cutest things. (Guess she takes after Nana cause I love the remark about smiling and marriage!) The photo of your town was beautiful!
ReplyDeleteModeling is incredibly hard work if she had to smile and hold a pose for 3 hours. She is such a beautiful young girl, and she has a great role model to show her the way.
ReplyDeleteOh, I missed this!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable Diana.
How proud you must be!
