A few weeks ago
I asked for prayers
for this sweet, young woman.
Her name is Jessica.
You can read her whole
story here.
She is the daughter-in-law
of friends of ours.
She has been undergoing
a grueling round of chemo
and has had a lot of ups and downs.
However, her
BAD NUMBERS
are dropping!
Drastically!
BUT-they need to drop more
before she is considered cured.
I am going to see her
tomorrow at a big family affair.
Please remember her
in your prayers.
She desperately needs them.
Her good news is worth a smile.
Now, the not-so-happy news.
let me know
that her little grandson
did not make it.
Doesn't that picture just
break your heart?
You can read about it here.
God called this sweet little
child home.
And, although we know he is
in a better place,
his Mom & Dad
and all his extended family
are hurting.
Thank you so much-
I am overjoyed to know
that so many of you pray
when others need it.
Blessings and a Peaceful Saturday
to you.
Praying for all. Got to be hard giving back a grandchild.

ReplyDeleteA double-edged sword for us this morning, Diana. Excellent news about Jessica, and I will continue to pray for her complete recovery. I was very saddened to hear that Jacob didn't make it. I will keep his family in my prayers too. It is so difficult for those left behind.

ReplyDeleteSo many heartbreaking moments in life. Every time I see Jessica's photo, my heart breaks. The photo of Baby Jacobs is so painful! My only consolation is that I can see the Finger of the Lord in his little hand. It's written that God does not think as we do. And sometimes that's the only answer we can hang on to.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a reminder that it is a very slender thread that ties us to this world and every moment, child and lovely young woman should be celebrated for the gift it is. ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with Jessica. I am sending them heavenward and I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers.
ReplyDeletePrayer is powerful!! So happy to hear treatment is working for Jessica, but my heart aches for the family of that precious baby!

Good news and sad news too. Prayers for both families, that pic of the babies hand is just gut wrenching.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cindy
I will be praying for both of these families.
ReplyDeleteI believe that one of the reasons we are sent here from God is to get a body so that we can have experiences that help us to learn and grow by faith to believe in God.
I also believe that those little ones who pass away are saved and have no need of the ordinance of baptism. God loves them. They are not lost. As some churches leaders say. They will see their little one again. :)
Hugs and prayers
Take care, Janet W
One of the miracles of the Internet is how close it brings so many hurting and helping hearts. Bless you for advocating for others. Prayers for both families.

It's all so terribly sad what others have to go through...I really think God is teaching those of us still here to VALUE every precious second and change our hearts! What a beautiful young girl..and that little boy... my heart breaks!
