When I uttered those

words to 

MyHero

he kind of groaned a bit

but then looked 

WILLING

until he saw the 

object of

MY DESIRE.

I made him junk pick

this baby.

He hated it.

Yes.He.Did.

You have to know

that MyHero doesn't

like rusty..or old.

(Too bad he is stuck with

me now, huh?>) 

although I do try to keep

the rust at bay.

Anyway,

I had a plan.

A plan that would please

us both.

First we set it down by

the back steps.

AND

I start disassembling

and take off the burner grates.

LOOK what color is

INSIDE.

Cobalt blue in perfect condition.

LOVE IT!

Then I started working

MyMagic.

MyMagic 

involves

SPRAY PAINT.

I spray painted

an old skillet

 and an old

cast iron teapot 

Both came from the old farm

I grew up on.

I know a lot of you like

the old crusty look

but I think this will stop

them from rusting away.

This old coal hod was

found in Grampa AA's

chicken hatchery warehouse

and I have carted it around

for about 30 years.

Spray painting is done

and I am

starting to reassemble here.

The rest of the stove

got a good scrubbing

with a rust remover.

Don't you LOVE this old

oven door?

I'll bet Mrs. Stewart

never imagined that her

old gas stove

would be dressed for

Summer.

Don't you just 

LOVE IT?

After helping me move

the stove

MyHero was so tired

that he took a nap!

He said I just

WEAR HIM OUT!

Seriously?

Wait till he sees the

NEXT PROJECT

I have in mind for him.
