Seeing Double And The Easter Twins

I think I have told you
that I am
NOT BUYING
more "stuff"-
Remember?

I have been doing
a good job.
I mean, seriously,
how much "stuff"
do I need?

Well, as I was in a
Health Food Store
of all places,
I noticed a 30% OFF
sale sign
on the Easter table.

I glanced over.
Shut Up!
Seriously?
A foil wrapped
chocolate bunny?
What is even better than that?
A faux foil wrapped
chocolate bunny.

Hmm...
I have two daughters
and one daughter-in-love
that I try to treat equally.
So...do you have 3 of these
(for Easter presents)?
No?
You have TWO of them?
Sigh...
Well I HAVE to have ONE
for me...because the
price is SO cheap-
1/2 of what I have seen
anywhere else.
Okay-I rationalize-
only ONE little
Easter purchase this year.
Pretty good, Diana,
if I do say so myself.
Look! how cute is he?
Oh- wait he wants to sit in
the kitchen window next to
the Easter Egg Tree?
Well, isn't he just sweet?
WHAT THE HECK?
I guess the old adage is true.
Rabbits multiply when you
aren't looking!
I guess
SOMEDAY
SOMEONE
will be arm wrestling over these
two to
"remember when Mom bought these"....
Maybe they will get lucky and
they will multiply by one
in storage!

Easter blessings-

  1. Oh, I like those. I have the perfect solution to your problem.
You leave them to Jettie and me in your will.
    Problem solved.
Be careful on the roads and make sure to take plenty of photos of the kids with their eggs and funny faces.

  3. Very cute, Diana! It's too bad they didn't have more {although, I think I saw similar at Home Goods} because of course you have to subtract the one for yourself. : )

  8. You may have mentioned not buying things lately...AHEM! But who could resist that cute bunny and if it was in a health food store, it must be good for you! I buy candy with peanut butter in it, I don't like PB so I don't eat it.

Have a wonderful Easter and I am sending a BIG hug!

    XO,
    Jane

  10. They're adorable! I saw some similar at Home Goods and slowly walked away. Twice. I am REALLY trying not to accumulate more STUFF. Ofcourse, I just accumulated another dog, so that's a bit hypocritical. :-)

    Have a great Easter weekend!

  12. Since you confessed, I'l confess I've eaten almost a whole bag of twix bars I bought to hide for Easter. What the heck it's only Easter once a year right? You did great with that bunny treat.

  17. I made the same promise - and I haven't bought a thing this year, well, except 3 BIG bags of candy! Well, a Grandma's got to have candy to put in the plastic eggs for the Hunt! (Mom already called and said, "just put 'em out empty this year." Oh yeah, right, the grandchildren won't be looking at her going, Grandma??!!) So~that's what I'm doing tonight, stuffing eggs with candy - only one piece, right? (Yeah right! Not!! It's Grandma's house, after all!)

I hope there aren't any Faux Rabbits, Chickens or any other cute little animals at the stores - I unpacked 3 boxes to put up around the house already! Diana, your not being a good influence here! Or maybe you are . . .

    Love you!
    Donna

  18. I try to not buy more. I do give it a thought about whether I need it, where I will put it, and do I need something else more. I have been on little shopping spree lately. I need to stop. BUT, it has been all the things that I NEED, right.
How did you make those bunnies multiply. I am still chasing those bunnies around here, hah.
    Happy Easter.

  24. Oh Diana,
I am surprised that you, being a nurse and all, don't realize that the foil wrapping is going to mess up any chance of reproduction!!!
    Hey, I couldn't help myself - : )

    I do love your bunnies-
And, I am real sorry about Keys. Sweet Cheeks cheered me up pretty quickly though.
Happy Easter to you sweet family

  28. That 30% off gets me every time. Sometimes kids will ask me how I can figure something so fast. Now, mind you, I am not good at math, but I can sure calculate the % off of something in 0.5 seconds!
    Happy Easter!

  43. Hi Diana, I LOVE those Faux foil bunnies! I saw some really big ones the other day in Steinmart but resisted the temptation. Once both of my girls have completely left the nest and I divie out the old stuff to them, it will give me an excuse to buy NEW stuff! Have a wonderful Easter, Nan

  46. Every year when I was little, we would get a chocolate Easter egg or bunny that was hollow inside. Usually Cadbury's. I've continued that tradition with my girls and they always look forward to it!

    Happy Easter to you!!
