I grew up believing in
LEPRACHAUNS
and
LITTLE PEOPLE
YES. I. DID.
As I grew older I realized
I may have been hoodwinked
by one of my father's stories.
BUT THEN~
I found this on our property.
First I saw this tree.
I took it as a sign that the branch
that was crosswise was pointing
to another tree.
And it was!
Look what I found at the base of
the tree it was pointing at.
Is that cool, or what?
I told you it was cool!!!
You KNOW it is a FAIRY HOUSE, right?
I fell into a prone position to take a photo
of what was INSIDE this tree.
YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT!
HONEST! You won't BELIEVE IT!!!!
Let's look through that hole!
Ready?
Are you a believer now?
Huh? Are you?
Is that the cutest little fairy house
you've ever seen?
Didn't I get a great shot
of the inside of that tree?
What do you mean
YOU DON"T BELIEVE ME????
Well, as SweetCheeks would have said....
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTT!
and say....NANA!!!!!!
has grown up~
Wow! I'm a believer now for sure and for certain! I LOVE that little fairy house, and wouldn't it be fun to find such a thing in a tree on your own yard! Wow! Now I want one too! LOL. Loved this post. This was fun. And Sweet Cheeks has certainly grown up into a true American Beauty! It's always good to hear from you. I do miss your holiday dinner tables, however! I know you have a lot going on, but it's always such fun to sit down to dine with you and all our friends in Blogland. I don't think we could fit in that sweet little fairy house, however! But we can dream! Thanks for a fun way to start my day!
ReplyDeleteWho could NOT believe you, Diana -- your photographic evidence is irrefutable! And SweetCheeks is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreat story and post. Enjoyed it !!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I don't know if I believe in fairies, but I believe you have the most gorgeous granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteOf course I believe! I so want to have a little fairy house tucked into one of my trees! Sweet Cheeks is all grown up and what a beautiful young lady she is! I, too, miss your holiday tables. We’ve had fun over the years, haven’t we? Hugs, sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteI believe!
ReplyDeleteI believe.... and goodness me, Sweet Cheeks is all grown up!
ReplyDeleteLove, Carla
Love your fairy house and of course your imagination. Always so fun. Sweet Cheeks is a beauty Diana. Xo
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe now! But in my vision, it is the house of a couple of adorable tiny field mice.
ReplyDelete...imagination is a wonderful thing to have, far too many don't. SweetCheeks is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThere is evidence that the fairies referred to in legends, were/are in reality aliens or extraterrestrials. Similar to old sightings of so- called dragons, were in fact reptilian aliens from alpha draconis. Looks like Sweet Cheeks is very photogenic, however it's a tough world and good looks won't cut it. College degree and ongoing career development are the way to go.
ReplyDeleteHAHA - I am a believer! And my goodness has Sweet Cheeks grown up into a beautiful young woman.
ReplyDeleteHow can you not believe that story? Too cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Sweet Cheeks!
Our little SweetCheeks has grown up for sure. And I remember her at that young age too. What a lovely young girl she is, Diana. And you know I love fairies, so that fairy house was delightful to see. That really is a cool looking tree trunk. It seems some kind of critter would have to live in there. ; ) Wishing you beautiful October days, dear friend.
