about someone that is
sitting next to you that might have
forgotten to bathe...or sumthin'....

Fall is here.
I can feel it in the air.
We were in the 30's last night
and highs in the 50's yesterday.
Earlier in the week we hit 80!!!

  15. Hello! This is so fun! I absolutely choose No.2. First off, I love the tone of the pears and nuts, calming and unpretentious. And it is also not tall and obtrusive. I've been to enough dinners with beautiful but huge centerpieces where I end up playing peek-a-boo all through the meal! Thanks for the fun, my lovely friend.

  16. Sometimes it is difficult to pick a favorite. I love the grapes centerpiece since I did two with grapes recently. Number #1 is my choice Rustic and elegant. Happy Sunday dear friend. I hope things are well with John. xoxo

  17. #1 please, I'd leave that centerpiece out all fall or as long as the yellow roses last then replace with some fake ones....yep #1!!!!!

  18. Definitely #5! Judy CLARK

  19. I’ll take #6 Mason Jar Magic. They’re all pretty but this feels very farmhouse-ish.

Yay, for Fall! We cooled off…it was48 this morning and we will be in the 70’s most of the week. Thank God!
    😊Cecilia

    PS
It was in the mid 90’s for the wedding - warm but no rain. It turned out well!

  20. They are all so beautiful! I am having a difficult time deciding. But number #2 with the pears and #4 with the grapes might not make it through the meal as they are so tempting to eat! LOL. I am kind of leaning toward #1 because I love the birch bark and the roses, etc. I like the pumpkin one too, but I don't remember the number now...so, eenie meenie miny moe...I'll take the birch bark and off we go! Happy Autumn Daze. I hope your John is doing well. Praying for you both.

  21. They are all so pretty! I'm torn between #1 and #4 (I love grapes and could snack on the centerpiece while waiting for dinner!) but, I think I'll pick #1! I could snack on one of those persimmons if I'm hungry! LOL.

  22. Great idea, Diana!! I want #4 because I love the grapes. Awesome fun!! xo

  23. I like parts of all of them and probably would rearrange all of the elements into a number eight. But since this is what we've got to go with, I guess I'll go super simple and pick the pears and nuts!

  24. #1 Birch Bark Beauty is my favorite centerpiece. Can you send it to New Orleans?

  30. Since I'm all about simplifying and decluttering my life lately, my heart was drawn to #2 with the pears, Diana. I love the simplicity and the soft colors. We have two pear trees on our property, and the deer love to munch on the fallen ones! :) Hope you're doing well, sweet friend. Sending my love to you!

    xoxo Laurie

  39. Hi Diana, This is a tough choice. I like all of them. OK, I’m going to vote for #4, the GRAPES. 😊 I can just imagine those sitting around the table snipping off a grape and nibbling on it while enjoying a delightful beverage and the table conversation. Now, I don’t know if I can do this or not … but if I can make a change to #4 it would be to add a couple of small pumpkins, like the ones in #7, to the setting, just to give it a little more seasonal flavor. 😊 But I'm voting for it as is. John

  40. #6 for me, but it was hard to pick! Cindy

  41. Number one for me.
    Love the flowers and
the container is a winner as well . . .

  42. #1 for me! A friend of mine used to make these many years ago. They are so beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
  43. They all look nice but number one gets my vote please.

    My good wishes.

    All the best Jan

  44. Number 6 for me please! I love old Mason jars. Will we be outside? Can we have a big fire to dance around? As always, I'll bring my "green tambourine" with the ribbons on it. I'll bring candy corn for everyone and flower crowns in green/gold/orange and red for the ladies. Red boutonnieres for the gentlemen. A little white pumpkin for all. Your parties are the best!

  45. Definitely #2 Nuts About Pears.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's pumpkins de-vine for me! How fun, there are so many pretty choices, it was hard to pick just one, but those three bright and cheerful pumpkins just made me smile.

  47. Love the pumpkins in #7.

Have been keeping you and John in my prayers.

  48. Dear Diana, #2 Nuts For Pears is my favorite because I am nutty crazy about yummy pears. I'm very late to this gathering, so I don't expect to be included in the vote, and while I've never sat at a table with a stinky body within nose smelling distance, I've stood on the other side of the counter from some. Afterwards the entire area would have to be sprayed with room freshener so we could breathe :) I looked at your post before this one and your garden is beautiful. My husband is not a winter person, so I've never been able to talk him into a firepit, but yours looks so cozy. A fairy garden in a wheelbarrow... who would have thought. Very clever and so adorable. Best wishes for your husband's health, and best of everything for you both.
