I am almost finished shopping!
Whooo Hoooo for me!
As to what happened to the spacing
on this thing?
It's a mystery to me...and one I can't seem to fix.
Yes-thank you- I AM blonde!
The fudge looks delicious and what a great way to package it.
ReplyDeleteDiana, I love this post, especially Maxine. LOL Remember the fudges at Horton's ? Gosh two of my daughter went there for one of their markets and bought some of that fudge. I still have a piece in the fridge. It never goes bad , does it? LOL Hope things are well there. Blessings to all of you. xoxo, love you, Susie
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! My Christmas card box came with a see through placstic lid this year, so I will have to pay more attention when buying cards!
ReplyDeleteI love fudge. I love peanut butter fudge. But I never knew how much sugar was in it. Joe is diabetic and I'm borderline so I don't think I can make this. Unless... Splenda is an alternative. Hmm... Thanks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteOK, replying from bottom to top.
ReplyDeleteI am having spacing issues too and I am not happy. You are not alone. Grrr.
Funny Maxine! She reminds me of my Aunt Phil so much.
Love peanut butter fudge and I am going to make some today!
Whoo hoo grats on being done shopping. I am 65% there. My MIL is a tough one but I got her to give me a few ideas late last night, so we're gettin there!
And you know I love your boxes idea - I think I will repost mine from last year again (mentioning you) cuz I got to it so late in the season last year.
This year is so much easier not hosting a half dozen high-maintenance parties. I could get used to this easy way of life. Well just saying I may never host as many through the year as I have. This year has been good on my nerves, but lonely on my spirit - so I will meet it in the middle and see how it goes.
Hugs - have a fabo day and week, and a blessed Advent Season.
Maxine is always always funny but this one is especially hilarious and I'm hoping I can remember it. I wish my mother were alive to get that recipe because she could not make fudge. She could bake but she couldn't make fudge. And she loved those boxes she kept all the Christmas card boxes
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! I have a luncheon with friends next week and am most certainly going to make this. I keep my Christmas card boxes every year and have a huge collection. Have a blessed and beautiful day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift idea and it sounds delicious. I've some boxes left from over the years, now I just need to fill them up. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I will give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI'll make some of this to tuck into the boxes this Christmas, Thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I have two of those boxes!! Hurrah!!!
ReplyDeleteThe spacing is tricky...but if you click onto normal it should be good. It starts you with paragraph showing and you have to change it to normal. Hope it works! Love this great idea my friend! Happy to see you today with a sweet...sweet post!
ReplyDeleteA great idea. The recipe seems easy to make and I am sure it is delicious! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI am having trouble with the print on blogger today, too!! ugh.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this wonderful idea, Diana. I am going to do this for the kids this year! Have a super week! Love to you, Debbie xo
Wonderful "pick us up" post today - smiles and great idea for making/wrapping a sweet treat.
ReplyDeleteHugs

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, "spacing" with New Blogger!!!

ReplyDeleteYour fudge recipe is so good. I love all those pretty christmas card boxes too. They are too pretty to throw away and this is brillant to use them for gifts with your fudge. Would make great neighbor gifts.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are done with decorating. Enjoy now!!!! xoxo
I think I used this recipe one year but Im saving it again just in case. Looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteLisa
Oh, I like that saying - the fatter they are, the thinner you look! Ha, ha!
ReplyDeleteI've never been a candy maker, but this sounds easy enough that maybe even I can handle it, LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the recipe!
Also Diana, thank you for your sweet friendship . . . we may never meet here on earth, but I'm sure we'll see each other one day in heaven. I'll be the one wearing a big ear to ear smile and hugging my honey :)
That sure looks tasty, thanks for the recipe!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a Gift and the optics of it are really good in a presentation! When I read the ingredients of that easy Fudge Recipe it gave me pause about eating Fudge at all now, since I am an Insulin Diabetic... but the Maxine Cartoon made me Laugh out loud... so mebbe just one piece... *winks*
ReplyDeleteI am trying to set up another computer, so I just got here. So I says across the table (we are in the coach) Hey look what Diana did! Back from the other side came and excited voice, "I know, I already read that!" So I am late.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love it.
Sherry & jack from Florida.
Looks yummy and a great idea.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'm adding this recipe to my list for when I get my gas back and can once again use my stove. Looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteI made this last year and it was a huge hit. In fact, I'd been thinking about it and wondering where I put the recipe! Now I have it again. Thank you, my friend. And for anyone else reading comments -- this is THE BEST PB fudge. Ever.
ReplyDeleteDoes look good, and a nice idea.
ReplyDeleteI've started writing the cards and have bought some presents.
Happy December Wishes
All the best Jan
I remember this..Sounds like cooking to me..LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your idea!! I should try something like that. I'm not much into fudge, but yours looks good enough to eat. Thank you for sharing it with us. Now I want some. Okay, bye!

ReplyDeleteI remember this idea from before, and think it absolutely perfect! Maybe this will be the year I actually make it!
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't do at all for us diabetics, but such a wonderful gift for friends who aren't!
ReplyDeleteI just Love Peanut Butter Fudge, Hope you had a Great Thanksgiving ! Great Idea on the Card Boxes !!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this recipe is delicious for peanut butter lovers...sadly I'm not one of them. Only PB I like is on a PBJ sandwich...weird I know. But I always love your blog posts:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and yet easy idea! I love this so much! I do not have any Christmas card boxes in hand but I do have some containers. Oh, I might could even just doll up a little box too. Love this easy recipe and I am a fan of peanut butter. Oh I am not worried about those calories...after all, peanut butter is such a good source of protein....right?! LOL! Hugs and blessings to you sweet lady.
ReplyDeleteCindy
I am so glad you posted this again as I thought it was so charming the last time I read it. I really should do this for a few folks. The peanut butter fudge recipe sounds just awesome and presenting it in the card box is so clever! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI've made that peanutbutter fudge in years past (before we went sugarless ... I know, I know, you call that sugarless word cussing lol). // I cannot stand that stupid spacing thing on blogger! Arrrrggggg!! I've just resorted to making longer than usual paragraphs so it doesn't look crazy weird. Usually I took the time to work in the html area, but I got tired of allllllways doing that, sooo.... 🤷♀️ *sigh* Oh well. // I laughed out loud at Maxine! Blessings to you, Diana! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love your recipes! Thank you, please take care and come visit soon. HUGS across the miles XO XO
