HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Well,
the countdown is on,
isn't it?

I am sitting by the fireplace
with my morning
cup of
"Thank You God Coffee".

In our rental (yep-still haven't found our 'new' home yet)
 I am looking
towards our dining area
and loving my
opaline pumpkin.
I am headed to work in a bit
and starting to plan on how to deal
with the upcoming
Thanksgiving Day.
I think this will work.....
Here's hoping YOU have a
STRESS FREE
Thanksgiving!

We are celebrating
THANKSGIVING
tonight----don't ask.....

  3. Hahahaha...somebody else is doing Thanksgiving this year...my sister...she may need some of that. I know that she's been working on it for about a week.

Have a blessed and Happy one. I hope that the work day is festive and fun. (I used to enjoy working at holiday time; however, I hope that you are allowed to leave early. Really early.)

Your opaline pumpkin is a beauty!

  5. I also love your pretty pumpkin like an opal. I am so stressed out these days...you are really speaking to me! Just heard a preacher on the radio, quoting Hebrews...Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees. Felt like this was just meant for me! Happy Thanksgiving to you, my friend. God's blessing on you always.

  12. Happy Thanksgiving!!

That pecan pie recipe in your last post sounds so good! and in a cast iron pan! By the way, yes, sounds just like our family. Laughing all the time! May be why I turned out to be so self-conscious. :)

  17. Happy Thanksgiving, Diana. I love your opaline pumpkin, so pretty. And I think I've mentioned how much I like those green candles also. Don't worry about a house - a house is a home no matter where you settle, if you give it your own personal touches. And I can see that you have.

I hope you have lots of good foods to eat, and I am thankful for having a blog friend like you. : )

  21. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, no matter when you decide to celebrate it. My daughter and I will go to our friends' home for Thanksgiving Lunch and then, to my aunt's house for dinner! LOL! I made it as stress-free as possible by buying the pecan pie to take to my friend's for dessert, but, I've been requested to bring my specialty - cornbread - to aunt's! So, my plan is to make it, tonight. I'll need to make a triple batch and, probably another batch for my daughter! LOL.

  25. What a great cartoon! Not much stress at my house this Thanksgiving, as it will only be my family of 5. The other 5 people who were supposed to be joining us have had unexpected company come to town, so they had to cancel.

    Happy Thanksgiving,
