If you have seen this before
I apologize.
I think it will be a recurring post
every Fall for me.
I couldn't resist
posting this again.
for all you
This is SweetCheeks
at two years old.
She is 12 now.
Here she is holding
THE PUMPKIN
she picked out.
..AND..
Here she is about
15 seconds later.
Ummmmm.....
Poor SweetCheeks!
I love that we have a
moment like this forever
frozen in time.
Someday she will show this
to her own granddaughter
and smile a sweet
little smile of remembrance.
I hope you have a
Smashingly good Wednesday..
and I mean that in the
NICEST WAY!;>)
Sweet little Sweet Cheeks...poor little pumpkin! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI remember this story and enjoy it whenever you tell it. Poor Sweet Cheeks!
ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet memory that is worth repeating every year.
ReplyDeleteDiana, I have to say, I laugh when I see this photo. But yet feel badly for SC. But I think she will love this picture herself one day and show it to everyone. LOL I saw my great grandsons in costume. Luke was wearing what his older brother wore last year. LOL. Hug SC for me, I know she is still a sweet girl. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute photo of Sweet Cheeks and precious memory for all of you!
ReplyDeleteSweet photographs.
ReplyDeleteSpecial memories indeed, and I enjoy collecting them too with family and grand-children :)
All the best Jan
Never gets old! ❤️
ReplyDeleteOh Yes, I remember this picture well, and I never tire of looking at it. It's so funny. Our kids and grandkids will always have the special memories that we made for them, and it will allow them to share stories with their own kids about their funky mom and grandma. ; ) I just love this picture of SweetCheeks. It brightens up my day.

☺️Hope that she chose a replacement pumpkin. Otherwise, the memories are too painful. She’s adorable and if you feature her as a senior in a few years without our hearing about her in between, I will be depressed.
ReplyDeleteI would never get tired of seeing this..I miss all those SC stories..Time goes so fast!!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me giggle every time. What's so goofy is when I giggle I feel bad. I say in my head, that's horrible don't giggle.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great memory.

ReplyDeleteWhat adorable pictures! Yes - she'll always have that sweet memory! We used to love going to the apple orchards around here with the kids and picking out pumpkins too. The last few years we've been going with another couple and it's been very fun, even if it is just us 'older' kids!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and funny too. Happy Halloween week-have a good one.

Ah Diana - as far as I am concerned you can share this joyful post again. Sweet Cheeks could not have been more darling. Also caught up on your previous posts...Lulu was a gorgeous baby and is such a lovely grown up senior. My nephew is a Barista at Star Bucks too. He seems to enjoy it. Hope Lulu does as well. Read your good news concerning the twins and also the miracle of healing inre to melanoma. God is so good! Have a blessed day.
