As you know,
I believe in fairies...
I think they are some of
God's little angels...
although I couldn't find
that part in the Bible....
One morning~
we awoke to a world kissed by
Fairy Dust
~some of you may call it snow~
Looking out the window I saw this...
(the blue vertical line holds a
bird feeder at the end)
And this....
And this....
The Cherub-Before And After
THE BIG SNOW
Do you see the cherub there...
surrounded by snow
and lit by sparkling lights?
He's way at the base
hidden in his little snow world.
The fairies will visit this
sweet little place when
Spring comes to Green Bay.
I will sure miss this little playhouse
in all the seasons as we move.
It's a cold beauty right now but the
Winter Fairies love it....
I see them flitting around
out there from time to time.
Yes. I. Do.
The other "fairy" that has been
visiting grandkids lately is the
Tooth Fairy.
Here is the one I have.....
He is a Mark Roberts fairy.
He's darling, isn't he?
He's the one that comes to visit
in the depths of night when you
lose a tooth....
IF YOU ARE GOOD.
Of course this is
NOT GOOD
if you are over the age of 12
AND even worse
if you have dentures!
Yes, indeedy!
Are you not so good?
Well- HERE is YOUR tooth fairy!
Makes you want to stay on the
Straight and Narrow,
doesn't it????
Have a fairy nice Sunday!!!!
Gorgeous photos. Winter sure is beautiful in your neck of the woods. Not so here in the city although the first day can be nice. After that it is gray and dirty. Love your little tooth fairy. I do believe in fairies myself.
ReplyDeleteNote to self: book a dentist appointment. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteWell, as you might know, I just got upper dentures and can't eat without them so I better hang on to them tightly in hopes Ole Pinky there doesn't fly in and try to take them. I've had ALL the dealings with so called TOOTH FAIRIES that I want, believe me....
ReplyDeleteNo snow nor rain here...we are so dry that spring winds will cover us and our little fairies totally up with sand.
Magickal photos! But EEEEEEEK, that Tooth Fairy with the toilet brush, lol!
ReplyDeleteOh my that last fairy is scary! haha
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow scenes. I have candles in my little outdoor cottage windows. When there is snow on the ground it looks so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great big giggle this morning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and your writing.
ReplyDeleteBut the tooth fairy!! :D:D:D
Pretty winter/snowy pictures this morning....but that ugly tooth fairy has to go! lol
ReplyDeleteOh! Love the lights in the snow!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the hairy tooth fairy. ;-)
Beautiful snow pictures. I have several Mark Robert Christmas Fairies. I love them!
ReplyDeleteA Fairy Nice Sunday to you, too! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to celebrate a fairy nice Sunday. Love the fairy snow and the fairy playhouse, and the tooth fairy...but that last bad tooth fairy is a bit much even for me. LOL. What a good laugh! I needed a good belly laugh today! Thank you Fairy God Mother! LOL
ReplyDeleteWe can always count on you for a little bit of pretty and a good laugh, Diana. :)
ReplyDeleteHow come your snow looks like fairy dust -- and our snow looks like.... well, I won't say what it looks like. But you know!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and lots of faerie fun!
ReplyDeleteI do remember that tooth fairy all those years ago. That fairy with the beard is very scary. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening, Diana.
I hope you're not having to get out too much while it's so snowy and cold! I know you can drive in it...but some other people can't! Take care and stay warm! Love your fairy pics! I believe!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved all things fairy:) Just sweet little creatures to think about. My granddaughter and I made a fairy garden when she was younger...one of my favorite memories. Oh that snow!!!! Living here in the deep south, we almost never see snow. Mother Nature does occasionally dust us with just enough to get us excited...I mean we go ape crazy when we look out the window and see a small flurry or two:) I am glad though that I don't live where there is lots of the white stuff...a little goes a long way with this gal! Thanks for coming by my blog and for your sweet comments concerning my aunt.
ReplyDeleteA winter wonderland
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous post.
ReplyDeleteThere are fairies everywhere for those who believe :)
We have a wonderful woodland glade nearby with 36 fairy doors … it's a magical, marvellous place. I hope to visit again soon, must remember to take a camera … although fairies don't always want to be photographed !!!
Have a wonderful week, stay warm.
All the best Jan
I collect fairies too.. The Mark Roberts kind... You can keep that last one. He is indeed scary. Your snow is beautiful. We've had some snow but not worthy of pictures. Have a good week. Going to be bitter cold here. Single digits probably too cold to snow. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI adore the snow! It was so fun to come and see all the delightful snow pictures. I am off to read about caramels now...
ReplyDeleteYou have a delightful imagination and a gift for fun photography. If I didn't know better (and believe me, I do!), I'd think the snow wasn't all that frigid!!
ReplyDeleteAn imagination is very important for a NANA. You definitely qualify. But after seeing my FAiry, in the end, I promise to brush what teeth I have left with vigor. LOve it, and of course Fairies exist. No one doubt that, do they???
ReplyDeleteSending love from a leaky MH down in Florida!
Sherry & jack
LOL!!!! you crack me up!!! Looks like we are getting the same amount of snow as you guys. We are going to be 15 below by Wednesday. The next two days are not going to be so cold so it can snow 10 more inches then it will plummet!!! Yikes! Stay warm and have a great start to the new week.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
I hope I don't lose anymore teeth! lol
ReplyDeleteHi Diana! Oh goodness, I better keep up with the brushing and the flossing, lol. The play house is adorable and looks especially charming in the snow. Snow? No shortage of that lately - we've got up to a foot coming overnight tonight! Yikes! Stay warm & cozy! Jane
ReplyDeleteYou're so fun, Diana! Thanks for the smiles this evening!
ReplyDeleteWould not want that scary looking tooth fairy man in my home!!!! It is pretty having the snow but boy, I am so glad it is there and not here! I will not drive or leave the house if it snows and so glad it rarely does here!!!
ReplyDeleteHa! What a lovely post!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of the pretty frosty winter scenes! Looks cold, peaceful, and magical!
ReplyDeleteHaHa! Brilliant! AND..Who does'nt believe in fairies..
ReplyDeleteSomething wrong with you if you don't..And..that's quite
right, fairies are 'not' mentioned in the bible..l've just
read one from start to finish..NO FAIRIES..!!! HeHe!
(Fairy enough)...! :).
The photos are lovely...though l'm a little worried about
the Cherub..should'nt you be putting summat warm around
it's shoulders..the furry rabbit looks o.k. but the Cherub
looks frozen to the 'stone'..or is it bone! :).
Silly story before l leave...
"Last night l slept with my head under the pillow..when l
woke up..ALL my teeth had disappeared".
"Last night l dreamt l was eating a giant marshmallow...
when l woke up the pillow had gone".
HeHe! Bless! ´*•.¸(*•.¸♥¸.•*´)¸.•*´
Diana, Some times I feel as bad as that mean fairy looks.:) I am done with snow in my heart. Ready for fresh days, not frosty ones. Our winter's been tough. Stay warm, more headed your way. Blessings to all, xoxo, love you,Susie
ReplyDeleteIll admit it.....I have a secret fairy garden. Yep, its outside by the aircondition. There is a patch of gravel that is perfectly placed through bright green moss leading to a little water hole ( were the air condition line drips out). I peep at it every time I go outside. I plan to get some little fairy trees, swing and a bridge to add to it that I saw at the dollar store the other day.
ReplyDeleteThe cherub in the light of snow is so pretty the tooth fairy, no so much.
Lisa
You poor dear...the cold has plumb froze your brain...believing in fairies and having nightmares...that last fairy...Yikes! Just sign me, Stodgy old doesn’t believe in no stinkin’ fairies, Vee
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post Diana . . .
ReplyDeleteSending some Faity Dust your way!
Love the little play house . . .
I would be sad to leave it as well,
Diana,
ReplyDeleteLOL!! The last photo totally cracked me up!!! Beautiful photos!! I LOVE snow but I am just a bit tired of having to drive in it but there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel as this will be my last Winter working!! Thanks so much for stopping by, my friend! If I was in a rental until I found my next house, I would not be doing much of anything!
Hugs,
Deb
Beautiful winter pictures! WOW! NOPE I don't won't that dude visiting me! LOL! Would scare me to death! Hugs and blessings to you dear lady.
ReplyDeleteCindy
We had a bit of "fairy dust" Friday. Just a bit and it was over. Gone quickly.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Very behind I apologize. Super pretty post. My friend loves these fairies. Me on the other hand I get creeped out by them. Don't know why. Sure your playhouse will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI'm more of an angel girl.
Cindy
I'm smiling here this morning ! Hope you have a wonderful Monday !
ReplyDeleteLove all your photos and please feel free to send as much of the snow this way as you want! Living in the south and now in Texas doesn't afford us much opportunity for snow. I have begged the hubster to move me to a better snow environment...he doesn't like snow because as a teenager he had to shovel sidewalks and driveways when he lived in New Jersey. That dude...that's a different story! I will let you keep him! :-) Hugs! LOVE your blog!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that little cherub is so pretty all surrounded with snow. Your area looks like a winter wonderland, Diana. I get excited when I get to see snow pictures, as we don't get it here - have to drive an hour to the mountains to see it. So, this was certainly a treat. You know I love fairies too. And your fairy is delightful and looks just right for Valentine's Day. Thanks for sharing these snow pictures. It really made my day. The one with the red berries is pretty.
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
Well,, I just hit delete instead of enter! Boooooooooooo Hoooo!
ReplyDeleteAnyway sweet lady, I love fairies! They are just charming and yours is precious. Love the sparkling lights...perfect shot. I will stay on the straight and narrow, yikes he's a scary looking tooth fairy! Have a glorious day, sweet friend. Stay warm, I hear it's cold up there in Wisconsin, it's January. Spring is surely around the corner.
Hugs from Texas~
Nancy
That tooth fairy is enough to make you keep all your teeth lol! Lovely winter photos, Diana, and I love your sweet header! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving me a good laugh with the final pic today!!!
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks beautiful here too, Diana!! as long as I don't have to drive in it!! You KNOW I believe in Fairies, too. They are everywhere here at the lakehouse! If I ever woke up and saw that big ugly tooth fairy in my room, I would have to clobber him with a lamp!!! YIKES!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will miss your little playhouse, my friend.
LOVE YOU.
Debbie
xo
Winter Wonderland filled with faries....how magical. The tooth fariry is darling.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a story when our oldest daughter was but a little one losing her teeth. She was a head strong little gal, and I always had trouble with her brushing her teeth. So one night when she put a tooth under the pillow, there was a note under the pilow the next morning. "This tooth is not accetable, it needs to be brushed. You brush it good and put it under your pillow again tonight. Tooth Fairies like clean teeth." It worked! HaHa She was a brusher after that.
Of course there are fairies!!
ReplyDeleteHope you stay safe, warm and cozy this week Diana. :)
ReplyDeleteYou never fail to make me chuckle!
ReplyDeleteYour snow is pretty. Be safe and stay warm!
How beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThere is something beautiful about snow, isn't there?
Stay warm and be safe ♡
I love the snow....when it looks pretty like in your pictures! I believe in fairies too but never knew where they went in the winter. Now I know! They move into your playhouse and flit flit around your yard :-)
ReplyDeleteSO FAR WE HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE TO NOT HAVE SNOW. THEY COULD NOT PAY ME ENOUGH TO LIVE IN PLACES THAT GETS SO MUCH. IT IS PRETTY TO LOOK AT, BUT I AM TOO COLD BLOODED. THIS IS AWFUL, BUT MY LATE HUSBAND USED TO SAY I WOULD BE THE ONLY ONE IN HELL THAT ENJOYED IT.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful but cold pictures! So glad to hear you believe in fairies, so do I! They fill our dull world with a sparkle of magic. Hm, no fairy dust of that sort here. Maybe a bit of frost - that's fairy kisses for sure. Stay warm, Diana!
ReplyDeleteOh, you got a good amount of snow!it looks very pretty, but please keep it all to yourself. We already got quite a bit and that was enough! Stay warm Diana!
ReplyDeleteLove all these photos, the snow is beautiful but I still rather admire it from afar lol. ;-) You know by now we adore fairies here.... although I must say I'll have to pass on the last one. LOL Kathleen gets upset because the squirrels carry off her fairy things.....lol We are trying to find a solution for that! Hope you are having a great week!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
Hello my Wisconsin Buddy,
ReplyDeleteAre you freezing?
We need the Let's Have Spring Early Fairy get her butt over here!
LOL
Carla
I'm not a fan of snow but it sure does look pretty in your pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat play house is adorable. I can see why the fairies like to visit it. I have to say that last fairy is a bit scary :)
Oh my, I love those lights in the snow! My son and family just moved to WI this past summer. They are all from NM. They just installed a pellet stove. I don't think I would ever move far from that thing! LOL! Ya'll take care in that cold and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI want to live in that little cozy playhouse. It does have heat, right?
ReplyDeleteYour area covered in snow is pretty to look at....not sure how this girl could deal with it.
I'm gonna have bad dreams about the last fairy.
