I really need to get myself in gear,
get my pictures loaded onto my computer,
get them to Picmonkey,
and then share them here.
I am WAY behind in doing that.
So, that being said-
I have a few shots of the dining room dressed
as it was for Fall.
Here is the bombe chest
with Grandmother Clara's
Silver Tea Service-
It needs a good polishing right now....
It needs a good polishing right now....
From a bit further back...
Did you notice my little lamps are
WEARING HATS?
I got those after season last year.
They are DOG HATS
from the Pet Section....lol
I think I paid 50 cents apiece for them.
The dining room table arrangement
started with my old turquoise basket.
The little old blue level is from my farmhouse.
It was along the cellar wall.
See the MIX sign tucked down in there?
I have no idea where it came from.
The POE card/tag was part of a giveaway from
a couple of years ago.
My poor crow
is looking a little worse for the wear.
Looks like he got in a fight
with another crow and lost.
And just a peek at
the backside:
I am loving the blue mixed in with
the colors of fall here this year.
Lots of other stuff to show you
when I get my pictures loaded so
BEAR WITH ME!
Oh- and did YOU get YOUR flu shot yet?
We HAVE to have them to work at the
VA Center.
I never get them but I sure would not want
to infect any of our older vets-
many of whom are already in
weakened physical conditions-
so, I will have to get one next week.
I have never had the flu in my life-
knock on wood-
(or laminate-your choie)
I am thinking about offering
those sweet old veterans
FLU SHOTS
right at the front desk.
Aww...C'mon
It's the Irish in me.
It would make me father proud!
And, I would actually give them
out for free.
Don't you wish you were in my line?
Have a Happy Wednesday!
I have a few new things listed today
in my Etsy shop if you are interested..
the LAST of my pumpkins
and a few other things.

Oh my goodness - your decorations are exquisite as you! I mean it - I don't even know how you them them up. LOVE THE BLUE AND AQUA PUMPKINS - some day I am going to do that. Love the little hats too. I have gotten a flu shot! Love, sandie
ReplyDeleteJust got home from getting my flu shot..ouch!
ReplyDeleteLove your photo's.
Have a great day, it's cold here this morning.47
I love your decorations! I'm enjoying my simple Fall decorations here. I have gotten a flu shot for years since I am a caretaker for my Mom. I got the mega flu shot this year! It doesn't really hurt and my arm is just sore for a night. I hope it helps me stay well since my Mom does not need to be sick. I need to edit my photos and post on my blog. I've gotten so slack about it and even started to question whether I'm done or not?
ReplyDeleteLooking good! I love to see fall decorating. I have been getting a flu shot for several years and have gotten through the winters a bit better even with the different viruses that float around. I like your grandmother’s tea set. I wish my mom hadn’t disposed of hers. I don’t even know where it went but she got heavy into pewter and decided to get rid of the silver. Still no frost here- cold mornings and lots of rain lately.
ReplyDeleteYour table looks great!! Loving the blue...and those hats! Too cute...
ReplyDeleteI don't use Picmonkey anymore, as the "freeness" ended!I found another site..."Ribbett", almost the same...and FREE!!!
Enjoy the rest of your week my friend...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I love your centerpiece on your dining room table. The crow is really neat and I love the colors of your pumpkins. Have a wonderful day and week.
ReplyDeleteJulie
I got my flu shot. can't take a chance with my COPD.
ReplyDeleteYour table and Fall decorations are very pretty and look really good.
Take care my friend.
Hugs,
Mary
I really like the doggie hats on the lamps, Diana! Everything is so pretty at your place. I need to get in gear and do the same. When we were in England we went into a pharmacy and they had a sign promoting the flu vaccine and the woman asked me if I wanted a JAB! Your table looks more inviting! xo ♥
ReplyDeleteThose hats are perfect on top of your lamps!
ReplyDeleteDiana, I am lovin' your Fall decorations at your house. That blue basket is unique, and Yes, I love a bit of blue around Fall. Vera's "Poe" tag is charming. She is so talented, and the sweetest blog friend ever. Now, I'm looking at those acorns.....are those copper or what? I love them! And I see you have a blue Cinderella pumpkin in there too. Heading on over to your etsy shop now. : )
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
I really do the love combination of colors in your fall décor...and those acorns are gorgeous! I didn't get a flu shot for years but these days, my job depends on it. I remember taking one years ago before they were mandatory at the hospital and I swear it made me sick. I have gotten one the past several years and the only it gives me is a sore arm!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks lovely! I love the blue also. I'm not much one for decorating in Fall; perhaps I should though. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Irish flu shots, LOL! I'll have a double!
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations. Blue seems to be the new fall color this year. So pretty mixed with the muted orange. My Katie has to get the flu shot working at the hospital as well. My Elie and her boss and the baby all got one...guess what? A month later they all got the flu! Just a different strain. UGH. A friend from church got it too. It's fever and bronchial junk this year. Fun times.
ReplyDeleteI got my FIRST flu shot of my life last week!
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, Love all your decorations! When I worked in preschool and banking I always got a flu shot-but haven't since we've been here. Love your Irish flu shots-I think we are already in the same lineage. Hope you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Noreen
I love your fall decorations- they are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the velvet pumpkins that you have in your shop! You table decorations are beautiful, and the light blue added in there looks great. The witch hats....great touch! Also love that you let you IRISH show! haha...nice.
ReplyDeleteI got my flu shot! They didn't give me one of those!
ReplyDeleteI think I like your Irish flu shots better than any shot I've seen lately.
ReplyDeleteWonderful fall decorations and pictures Diana.
ReplyDeleteHugs Diane
Diana, I think I'd like an Irish flu shot for sure. LOL. The last drink I had was at a wedding. LOL. I love the vignette with the lamps. :) I like that you have that mix sign. :) Take care , stay warm. Blessings to all, love, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today and for your sweet comments. Cute Halloween decor. I have not gotten a flu shot yet this year and don't know that I am. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Have a good rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteI should've gone with YOUR Irish flu shots because the flu shot made me sick this year. :(
ReplyDeleteThe witches' hats on your buffet lamps have made me smile...how cute are they!?!?!?!?
Love your centerpiece. It looks very vintage-y. I have a beat up crow too. He's lost right now. No flu shot for me....ever. I am one of those people that would get the flu, besides I am allergic to egg based stuff. I eat eggs all the time though...go figure. You must stop tempting me with your new Etsy treasures! I am now eyeing that turquoise pumpkin, which I have absolutely nowhere to put or that it even matches in my house!!
ReplyDeleteThat silver looks shiny enough to me. How often do you have to shine that up? Great decorations. Those little pet hats are cute. We never had flu shots until a couple of years ago and the doctor insisted because we are "old"!!! I think your flu shots might help while we actually get the shot.
ReplyDeleteYears ago I got the flu. It is TERRIBLE. I've gotten a flu shot ever since and never had the flu again.
ReplyDeleteCarla from Kansas
I love all of your pumpkins and fall decor, Diana! The blue hued pumpkin is my favorite! Lucky you to never have gotten the flu! I never get a shot, but am going to this year. I would love one (or two or three!) of your special Irish flu shots!
ReplyDeleteWhat do I have to do to get to the front of YOUR line????????????
ReplyDeleteI love your halloween decorations.. And the pumpkins you made are adorable..
ReplyDeleteHa, I would take one of your flu shots, not the other kind. Love your fall decor...I have two beat up floral pieces out and some very cheesy pumpkins. Take care of our vets... xoxo
ReplyDeleteLaughed out loud at the Irish flu shots! I never know what to do about the flu shot. So many people I know think they're terrible. But I don't want to get my 80-some year-old mother sick when I visit her.
ReplyDeleteLove those plush velvet pumpkins, so pretty. Who says pumpkins have to be orange?! Love the blue.
We visited the Poe home in Richmond last year.
xo Deborah
I think I'll take one of your Irish shots....instead of a flu shot! love your fall decor...hugs...
ReplyDeleteWe don't do flu shots...this years flu shots are based on last years flu. I love your decorations and relate to not having anythings else to do.....not enough time..
ReplyDeleteYour decorations look so pretty! I guess I should go get the flu shot.....I am procrastinating
ReplyDeleteI am getting my flu and pneumonia shots tomorrow morning! Hope it will not make me sick as going to a concert in a week!!! Going to see an acapella group called HOME FREE!! going to act like a crazy old lady!
ReplyDeleteclever idea with the hats
ReplyDeleteDiana, you always have the neatest items that dress your table and your house xox
ReplyDeleteI have never had a flu shot myself, I don't plan on getting one if at all possible. Lucky for me I would from home so I don't need to get it xox
So many pumpkins and the flu shots I bet they are popular.
ReplyDeleteMerle..............
Your decor is so pretty and classy to me. Speaking of flu shots I think it's time for mine. I bet you will have some vetern's lined up for your FLU SHOTS! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteI love all your fall decor - especially the Irish flu shots.
ReplyDeleteClever decor as always..You'd be a big hit with the vets if you gave those out for treats..I'm sure you are a big hit anyway!! Cute hats..
ReplyDelete:-) You would make a great Doc with your prescriptions.
ReplyDeleteI have never had a flu shot. I had a friend have a reaction to the flu shot! That made me officially a chicken in getting one.
I'd much rather have one of your shots than the doctor's! Love the fall decor.
ReplyDeleteHaha...I'd certainly prefer one of your shots!!
