Rest In Peace- MONA DUFFY- BLOGGER AND FRIEND

Many of you probably knew
Mona Duffy.
She had a wonderful blog that
she kept up for several years.
She was a beautiful soul.
She had an interesting life and
some life struggles
like all of us do.

I am sad to say that she passed away
due to pancreatic cancer
early this morning.

I have not been blogging
the last few days so I missed
the post from her son, Danny.

You can read it here

God Speed, Mona.
You will be missed.
I have many long, lovely emails
from you that I cherish.
You were a very special lady
and I shall miss you dearly.

If you are so inclined,
please say a little prayer for
Mona's family---
or sent good, loving thoughts
their way.
Thanks!

  14. Mona, was a very special lady and I had the pleasure of meeting her. I drove to her home in Riverside, CA, met her and it was like seeing a old friend. We talked and talked. met Howard. She then took me to lunch at her son's restaurant. We sat outside on the patio and had a great salad and talked some more.

We had been talking about getting together and one thing or another came up and we never got back together again. I will miss Sweet Mona. She is now with the love of her life, Pat and her daughter that she lost to cancer a couple years again. She also lost a son last fall and I believe her had a heart attack. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

  18. I don't think I knew her, but I think it's sweet she had friends/family to let everyone else on blog land know.

I've been blogging so much that if you don't see me blog on a regular basis for more than a year with no goodbye, I'm probably dead.

  22. Praying for Mona's family. Thank you for this, Diana. The world is full of heartache. In many cases we can do nothing but take these families before the Lord, who knows and loves them, and is their greatest source of comfort.

  27. How very sad. I did not know Mona but I do know that pancreatic cancer is possibly one of the worse kinds. My hubby's father died with it and just last week, we lost one of our former pastors with it. My heart goes out to her family and thank you for sharing, Diana.
