PRAYERS-Jill's Mom Passed Away Unexpectedly & Updates & Other Prayer Requests

Hi everyone,
This is a LONG post!!
Although I lovee being able to do this
for people,
I also dread it because it means
that someone is suffering.

My friend, Jill,
contacted me to tell me that her mom
had passed away very unexpectedly.
She says she doesn't know how she will
go on without her.
Please pray for Jill and her family.
You might recall that Jill has some
serious health issues and surgery herself
not very long ago. (here)

ALSO:
Please remember to wing a prayer up for
bj @ SweetNothings
as she continues on the path
of finding her "new normal"
after losing her husband, Bill,
to cancer.

AND:
 Leena-@ PinkCherubMoon
Her hubby Jim's funeral
is this week and she is feeling
sad and lonely and wondering
what life means now.
They had just moved to
follow their dreams in
North Myrtle Beach.
Many of you know:
 Our friend, Mona Duffy
passed away this past week.
Her family would appreciate any
love and prayers we can send their way.
She was such a dear, dear lady
and we shared many emails over our
blogging years.

And, last but not least,
please pray for Robbin's mom.
Her struggle with cancer is far from over.
It seems she takes two steps forward
and slides back one.
They just found cancer in the fluid
that collected in her lungs.
Poor Robbin is exhausted between
her job, taking care of her mom,
and monitoring
extensive medical issues & treatments.

Edited to add:

Here is what Karie Jackson posted:

that is okay.
Please send your love and well-wishes
over the airwaves to these families
that desperately need some peace
and understanding.

Thank you all so much
for taking the time to come here,
read this, and react in whatever way
you see fit.

Love to you all- Have a blessed Sunday!

  8. I didn't know about Mona...bless her heart...she suffered so many losses in her lifetime.
I will pray for all here...and thank you dearly for prayers for us. Some days, I make it thru without crying for my loss of Bill...other days, it's all I do all day long. When he passed, he took half my heart and I know I will never be whole again. We are ok, tho....I know I have to go thru this hard hard time and the thing that keeps me going right now is the fact that I know he is in such a wonderful place....I still miss him, tho. Love to you and John, Diana...hug him again for me for helping Bill thru some of his hard time with cancer.

  11. So,so, sorry to hear about these precious people losing loved ones. My heart goes out to them, along with my prayers. After 9 yrs of dealing with "c"...I understand. BUT I will continue to claim "I AM HEALED OF THE LORD". Thanks for stopping by Diana. I haven't blogged for over a year and half. My computer went crazy and after months of trying to fix my blog, I just gave up. I tried last week and what? It was working. I do have a few glitches yet. I was able to read blogs but could never comment. It's good to be back! I do have a followers button on my blog...more towards bottom of page. Prayers & blessings...Roxie

  29. Diana, you have such a tender heart for those who are hurting. We will continue to pray for those folks who are experiencing serious health issues and for their families and the medical folks who take care of them. For those who are grieving for a loved one, I pray that God will ease their pain. I think we all know of people who are going through some of life's dark times. Personally, it makes me stop and think about my petty whining. The path I'm on is simple and easy compared to the Rocky road that others are traveling. xoxo

I will pray for these peeps.

    xo,

  35. Prayers for everyone. Makes you appreciate each and every day. 💕

  36. Wow so sorry for all the sadness. Prayer really does help, not always in the ways we expect or even what we want, but I know this much. God knows our needs and may not always do what we want, but he does do what needs to be done to accomplish His will. He is there to lean on and for comfort and encouragement. This earth is not our home, we are just passing through. It's the lessons we learn on the way that will be our guide in eternity so thank the Lord for even the bad, and sad times because one day we will see what it's all about. I pray God gives strength and comfort where it is needed...........Hugs Janice

  39. SO much going on with good folks. I am so saddened by these losses, even the folks I do not know. Losing parents is so difficult and I can not imagine losing a spouse. Illness, loss, difficulties of all kinds seem to follow us through life. I like to refer to " I Keep my eyes always on the Lord, With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken." Psalm 16:8 Thank you for your kindness Diana. Love and Blessings to you and yours
