Here is our Ria when she was little.
She was a flower girl at a wedding.
This was in a national publication:
BRIDES.
Look at that hair!
It was a hot sticky day and it
was an outdoor wedding.
Have a GREAT TUESDAY!
I'll be around to play catch up today~
I like number four.
ReplyDeleteThere is just something striking about that black table, so I will go with #2.
ReplyDeletesimplicity is beautiful
ReplyDeleteseat me at 7 please
I'll pick table #3 to join
ReplyDelete#6 -- I'd love to sit down with citrus!
ReplyDeleteOh, your sweet flowergirl! Talk about outshining the bride!
ReplyDeleteI'd opt for #3, for the pink roses, though i'd want to sit at that third place down, so as to see across the table. Which is, in its bare, knotty glory, so much like our own dining table back in Mississippi. It's an enormous trestle table, copied by my Daddy from a picture in an Ethan Allen catalog back in the seventies. I tore out the picture and stuck it on his workshop wall with a thumbtack, and voila!! At Christmas it arrived in a huge truck, with its heavy lyre legs secured with big wooden pegs through. It seats twelve without a leaf, and I'm remembering all those long-ago celebrations and homework sessions and Yahtzee games of its life in our house there.
The lack of silverware denotes a degree of informality, so I'm hoping fried chicken and crudite and fried peach pies, warm from a black skillet.
Stay COOL, faraway friend!

I think it would be #1 - it was the red and white pitchers that clinched it. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThe prettiest, of course, was little Ria! She would be my first choice.
ReplyDeleteAs for the settings, I'm going with number 3. Kind of a rustic luxe right?
#4. I like simple and feminine.
ReplyDelete#4 Absolutely!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I find it suspect that one who ordinarily plays fast and loose with the rules, lays down the law today. I'll take #4 out under the arbor. Thank you! ☺
four, I could stay at that table for days!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning! Oh, Ria is adorable.
ReplyDeleteMy fav is #6 - love those rich colors.
God bless you. xoxo
3 but they are all ice. Ria is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi sweetie, I like number 3. They are all beautiful though. Ria looked so adorable in the photo.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Noreen
They are very nice and most all brides would be pleased with either.Since I am a country girl, I like No. 3 and love the bright colors in No.6 too.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sitting at table one! Those transferware pitchers and all those roses are perfect! Ria was the cutest flower girl!
ReplyDelete#3 hands down :)

I'll take a seat at number 4, please. Round tables are much easier for conversation. Little Ria will be sitting there, too, I hope. If she needs a cuddle I'll hold her on my lap - I have two grand girlies who suck their thumbs, too. Everyone needs a little comfort.
ReplyDeleteRoses, roses, roses....I like roses #1.
ReplyDeleteI like #5, Barnside Blues. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI would like number 4, if you please! Sweetly informal.
ReplyDeleteI like number 1 roses.roses.roses, but I wish they were a different color of roses, maybe all white with a few red thrown in there hehehe.
ReplyDeleteRia looks so darling in this picture as the flower girl.
love, ~Sheri
Three with a close 5 :)
ReplyDeleteAll of them are pretty, but I absolutely adore table 3!! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you,
Amy
Oh I love the citrus one!! Bright and pretty!
ReplyDeleteTable 3 please. I like the rustic simplicity yet elegant touch.
ReplyDeleteLisa
My brother had an outdoor wedding at a public park because they had a building he could rent plus a gazebo. Ended up being way too hot, bright, and two guys on the others side of the park you could hear from a mile away.
ReplyDeleteI pick #1. Ria looks beautiful = love that look on her face.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the posts of your vacation.
Hugs,
Mary
I am probably the only one - but none of them grab me - so I am going whimsical - #7! Glad you made it home safe.
ReplyDelete#3 is one of my favorites. I love barns and all the things associated with it. I also love anything country looking. I will probably be the only one that chooses this one but that is ok.
ReplyDeleteSeat me with the other rose lovers for #1...If that one is full...I'll take the barn and blue.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd line to sit at any table sweet lady . But, I especially love table 1 . Oh I love it when you show these beauties . Hugs and blessings , Cindy
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like a few of them, but #3 - Planked and Pretty would probably be my #1 choice. You make things so much fun! Love to visit with you here! God bless you for all you do for others!!!

ReplyDelete#3 Planked and Pretty! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteNumber 4 for me...it is the pink glasses, I think. If you look through them, you will be looking at the world through rose colored glasses, ha ha!
ReplyDelete#3!!!!!!! Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
ReplyDeleteBig toss up. Planked and Pretty and Barnside Blues. I'm always on the trend. Egad.
ReplyDeleteJane x
I love roses, so number one was a contender until I saw #4 which really spoke to my heart. So, #4 it is.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo of Ria.
FlowerLady
I was thinking it would be one with the roses but when I saw blue hydrangeas on barn wood, it was all over....SO #5 it is!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Ria is adorable! I like number 4 because is it easier to converse at a round table. Although number 5 is very nice, simple. Have a wonderful day! xoxo
ReplyDelete#3, please. The photo of Ria is priceless. Her eyes are astonishing. xo
ReplyDelete#3
ReplyDelete#6- So pretty!

ReplyDeleteI'm all about #3... Planked and Pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Ria...they do grow up fast! My oldest grandson just turned 15 and got his learners permit. How did that happen? Happy weekend, Diana!
Is it too late to play? I'd love table #3 but might move to #4 if space was tight. Love both of those!
