Mary from
emailed me a few minutes ago
to tell me that her cousin,
Donna Dudley,
passed away.
Please pray for Donna's Mom, Nellie,
as this older lady deals with the
loss of her dear daughter.
Mary thanks you for your prayers.
Also, one of my daughters' friends
from school, Kelli Roddan,
passed away very unexpectedly yesterday
from an embolism.
She was only 38 and leaves behind a
husband and son.
She was one of those
'larger than life' personalities-
always laughing at something.
Please pray for her family.
Even though Heaven is brighter
for gaining two new angels,
those that are left behind
must cope with the loss.
Please pray for peace
for their Earthly families.
Oh I am so sorry to hear that, I will certainly be keeping her in my thoughts.

Praying for them. Just wrote about a charity in England that helps families who have lost children (theirs is specifically for those 16 to 25 year olds) but most certainly, the loss of a child at ANY age would be so very very difficult.
ReplyDeleteso much loss, I keep them in my prayers,,
ReplyDeleteOh, I just left a comment on your last post and am so sorry to read this. Sending prayers to both families. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSaying a prayer right now for both family's, Diana.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, Diana, but thank you for sharing these prayer needs of those who are hurting.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, Diana, on this Mother's Day weekend.
It is said we do not receive more than we can bear, but I wonder about that in your case. You truly have a lot of strong inner strength. Wish you a days of sunshine filled with lots of happiness.
ReplyDeleteOh so sad, prayers sent. What happened to the days of chatting about ordinary things such as: grandkids, sunshine, flowers, day to day events???? I hope and pray things are better for John.
ReplyDeleteHi Diana! I have prayed for the repose of their souls. Very sad! We dwell in a valley of tears, Diana! I am wondering how John is doing and you too, who have so much on your plate. I think of you guys daily and not just when I'm praying either. I am very concerned about what has happened to you. My own mother is very ill and Fort McMurray is burning and will go on burning and over 100,000 evacuees who have lost everything but the clothes on their backs. They have to drive on highways between walls of flames with sparks flying over their vehicles. It's heartbreaking! No rain in store and the winds are raging and only God knows when they will decide to turn and force more people to run for their lives. Sorry to be bringing this here. I just can't stop thinking about it and I can't stop watching it on television and somehow hoping that the rains will come and the winds will stop.
ReplyDeleteDiana, I am praying for all. It's so very sad. Your daughter's friend's passing is very hard ..some times our children's friends are like family to us. Still holding all of you in my prayers. Happy Mother's Day to you. Love you, xoxo, Blessings, Susie
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Diana for these Prayer requests. I am sorry to have bothered you when you are going through so much right now in your life. I think of you and John everyday and say prayers also.
ReplyDeleteI know that Donna is in heaven and is at peace. I just pray that her mother will hang in there.
I am so very sorry for your daughters friend, oh so young. I am having mass said tomorrow for Donna and will include your daughters friend.
Take my sweet friend and a most Happy Mothers Day to you.
God bless you and John
