WHAT IS---WHAT WAS---WHAT'S COMING!

Short & Sweet Today...
kinda like me--
OH WAIT-
I am neither
SHORT nor SWEET
I must be confusing myself with someone else.

Anyway-
I have to be at my son's house at 6am
to get his little guy off for his little school.

So-here it is-
What is...what was...what's coming!

WHAT IS!
THE SKY IS ON FIRE!
Here is what we saw the other night.
Wisconsin has some of the most beautiful sunsets
I have ever seen.
This is totally untouched.
Taken directly from my iPhone.
Still bonfires to burn this fall.
We won't mention the idiot's name
who burned my little table.
You can see it sparkling merrily
as the fire kisses its legs.

WHAT WAS
Flowers in my yard---gone!
The Outside Tub
Closed for Bathing Business
The babies that hold up traffic on a
MAIN ROAD for 20 minutes at at time..
Grown and headed South!

WHAT'S COMING!
Don't despair
Good things are a'coming!
Maybe tomorrow if I can get
my butt myself in gear
I will have some fall to share with you.
So..
wish me luck getting CJK off to school.
He is good at "sick"
if he thinks he can spend the day
at Nana's house.
He has, at three years old,
learned that you can't
FAKE A FEVER!
So now he gets a stomach ache.
Try to nail that one down!
However, I can tell when he really IS sick!
He gets red cheeks and grabs his monkey
and looks pathetic.
Okay, peeps!
That's all I got for the day.
Well, except for one more thing.
You remember about the
LABELING?
That people that LABEL should
KNOW HOW TO READ AND SPELL.
Yeah...
Well, guess what I am NOT having for breakfast this morning!

Glad they didn't use a U instead of an A!
They mighta had a run on those babies!

  4. beautiful sunset! I love your view so much. I was a sick faker all the time. I think a school schedule is too much for kids. they need breaks in the week and personal days :) I can't believe how many of my clients' kids are moving away from traditional schools into less structured programs.

  5. Beautiful sky. Love your fairy gardens. I hope you didn't get tricked this morning.

  6. Diana you always start my day with a smile. I wish I lived next door to you, I'd always be laughing. LOVE the sunset picture. So beautiful. Have fun with CJK. Don't let him talk you out of school. He's a cutie and I'd be tempted to take him home with me. Have a good day! I thought the same as you with the Pop-Tarts. Hmm...

  11. Don't tell him about the red cheeks and grab monkey and look pathetic. He'll be pinching his cheeks and grabbing monkey and faking the 'look miserable' thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Oh that sky!!!

Oh that poor little table! I take it, that HE didn't gather enough kindling, before starting the wee fire in the wee fire pit... -smirk-

  12. Diana, Poor little CJK...he's so sweet. What was your hero thinking burning something you could paint....and transform. That outside tub cracked me up...all kids should be bathed outside. LOL I love the sunset photo and can't wait to see your fall décor. Blessings for a great day, xoxo,Susie

  19. Good Morning Diana, You know that CJ steals your heart and you love him to pieces. They learn at a very early age how to wrap us around their little finger to get what they want. Most boys would sooner stay home then go to school. My youngest was going to the symphony today for a field trip and looking forward to it. The boys are so cute. Have a wonderful day and be strong so you don't get wrapped around CJ little finger to get what he wants. Ha. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend Shirley

  20. Those Pop Tards cracked me up! Wonder how long it was there until someone noticed. Lol! I remember when people used to send all those "headlines" in to Jay Leno. So many mistakes in ads and newspapers. We loved watching those! Can't believe you had to be there at 6am! That's EARLY! Smart boy that already knows how to fake it. :) Our sunset was pink and orange last night too, but not nearly as glorious as this. Beautiful! So sorry about your table. Oh man.

  21. Yes...Wisconsin has the most beautiful sunsets...that's cause this is God's Country!!! Oh my "Mr. Wonderful" has done a few things around here that were not pleasing to me....wish he would stay out of the kitchen. Sorry to hear about your little table ending up in the bonfire.

  23. That sunset is absolutely gorgeous and I am saving it. Your sweet baby needs his Nana and knows how to get her! Hope he's feeling better before the day is over. The spelling you see everywhere is atrocious!

  26. CJK is precious! I hope he isn't really sick. But - you can't really blame him for faking. I think I'd rather go to Nana's than school, too!

  27. Diana, I was drinking a cup of tea while I was reading your post--when I got to the end--tea came out my nose! Love the photos-well maybe not the fire burning table--but the sunset is lovely. I wouldn't want to go to school either if you were my Nana! ♥

  28. What a gorgeous sight to wake up and see. Rarely see that in Texas. For someone to not have time to blog much, you sure did a great job on many subjects. I have decided when it comes to grandchildren or great grans, there is nothing we want sacrifice for them.

  29. That is an amazing sunset, Diana.
I love cinnamon pop tards. Probably someone like myself making the signs up!
How cute the g'boys are in your outdoor bathing tub. and are you really short, Diana?

  32. Beautiful sky! And yes... I know all that is going away and soon the winds will change and bring back the cold...yuck! I'm enjoying this beautiful day today, knowing that it soon will change. And those flip flops will get hidden in the closet until next season...boo!

  33. Lol, another Walmart blooper? Too funny. The sunset is indeed gorgeous! Wow. And your table got burned ? Did it have an issue? It looks like it was ok (other than the fire thing). Love all your pictures. Your grand babies are adorable.

  36. NaNa's house and duties don't open till 9 a.m. around here!! Oh boy, that is early to be getting the little one off. Wow! what a sunset! You are a delight to read. Looking forward to your Fall stuff!

  37. Well you are totally back with your crazy self. I wouldn't eat those things, either. Now, for the love.....I love that outdoors bath tub. What a great idea! I mean we have an outdoor shower at the beach, but I just love the tub idea even better. That sunset is gorgeous. Our sunset this evening was shades of lavender and pink, although the picture I took of it didn't show the soft hues, but more harsh ones. It was still picture worthy, though. And the idiot that burned your table...well, we just won't even go there.

  38. Too, too funny, Diana! Gorgeous sunset! Hopefully that grandson was all healthy today! xo Nellie

  39. Hope you've had a good day looking after your sweet little grandson. Chuckled aloud at the last photo - as an English teacher the spelling on the internet and newspapers and billboards and signs and church songs drives me CRAZY!

  40. Wow, that sunset is just gorgeous, Diana! I bet you were enjoying that while taking a bubble bath in your outdoor tub, right?? Poor CJK, hope he feels better soon! Those crazy typos make me laugh, too!

  42. Diana was out all day and just now I'm relaxing catching up with what I missed today in Blogland. Your sunset photo is gorgeous - spiritually glorious. Quick question why is that adorable table being set aglow? Poor kid, those bright pink cheeks just shout out I need a big hug.
