  14. Best of luck, Diana! I had one last year or the year before. I have had a few in my life. It's different each time. Just make sure that if you get a headache that you do not take anything that has red in it like those red and gray Tylenol capsules! Will be thinking of you.

  19. I've been there sistah! The good things are 1) it is like an instant diet..youre down a few lbs. for sure , 2) the test itself is a breeze. They give you good anesthesia and 3) the test can PREVENT CANCER.

    Good Luck. xoxo

  25. Oh, it's so nice when it's over! I always think, "Wow! It feels good to be empty (as opposed to full to the brim of a variety of foods!)"
You'll feel like a million bucks tomorrow!

  26. I may have to "borrow" this one in the next month or so. But first, I have to sign up for the test. Don't want to. Hopefully you "passed" everything and will come out with flying colors!,

  27. Hope all went well with your test. I hate them and avoid them as much as possible. Like someone else said, the prep is the worst part.

  28. So sorry you had a bad night! Hope all goes well today and you're on the mend and back up and running ASAP. I haven't had one, YET....Ironically, I took my 14 yo daughter to the pediatric GI doc yesterday and he wants her to do the first part of your test this weekend. Luckily she hasn't asked a lot of questions about it, but I do think she does get the idea of it. We're trying to downplay it for her sake......I guess Saturday will be an eventful day in our house! lol Glad yours is over!xoKathleen

  34. Get some rest tonight, Diana, you deserve it! I bet you are beat! Hope your test went well. I need to go one of these days, but I keep putting it off!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Good for you getting this done...family history of colon cancer has me working towards my 4th colonoscopy in the last 10 years. It is not pleasant, but colon cancer is the most preventable and curable. Hope you rest tonight.

  36. Oh dear, been there done that! Everyone always says "studying for the test" is the worst part, and that is so true. I always request the earliest possible morning appointment.....I don't have to think about it on an empty stomach and coffee-deprived body, and the doctor is at his freshest! Good luck on positive results!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Let me know what it is like as my doctor says I need one since I am 63.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh yucky! Those and mammograms are just so much fun.....NOT!! I hope all goes well and you are clean as a whistle inside!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Doc thought I had colon cancer, and I had a colonoscopy a couple of weeks ago. It turned out my symptoms were nothing to do with cancer and could be fixed by cauterising. As I was already sedated they did it there and then, and now I'm fine. Hope your examination turns out just as well, Blessings

  40. You are just so darn funny! You will feel so clean when it's over.
    Hugs, Noreen

  41. Hope everything goes well! That's certainly not a fun way to spend the evening. :-(

  43. I was up all night Sunday night "prepping" and had my colonoscopy Monday morning. I lost 5 pounds with the prep, but I'm sure I've gained it back by now! Hope everything went well for you!

  44. The prep is the worst of it! Hope all is better and you got some good sleep after.
