Leaving my regularly scheduled
Finish It Up Friday
I bring you
FUN ON FRIDAY!
This is short and sweet
and I hope that I don't offend anyone!
The words were said in pure innocence.
This is TOO FUNNY to keep to myself.
My son and sweet daughter-in-law
had to go out of town for a day or two.
So, I picked CJK up from daycare
and he spent last night with me.
He is a funny little man.
Droll, I would say.
For some unknown reason he took a
BUNGEE CORD
to school.
You remember what they are, right?
Stretchy cord- hooks on the ends---
He got in the car, picked up his
Woody character doll and said:
Look, Nana!!!
I have
MY WOODY AND A HOOKER!
You just can't make these things up, folks!
You just can't make these things up, folks!
Good thing I had gone to the bathroom
before I left home..
that's all I can say.
Here he is showing off his treasures.
He was VERY INTERESTED in
THE BIG STEM on the pumpkin.
Hey, CJK...
Look this way and smile, will you?
Well, you got the half smile down--
now can you look up at me?
Hmmm...that's as good as it gets---
Lost the smile between looking down and up somehow.
So- there you have it-
there's your laugh for the day.
Oh---Wait~there is
ONE MORE LAUGH...
MyHero is having a colonoscopy today.
Just thought I would share that with
all of you.
I won't be laughing next week
because I have one scheduled, too.
Getting old is
SO MUCH FUN!
I am running kids,
MyHero, drugs, and errands today.
I'll check in when I can.
Tomorrow I have something
pretty special to share with you!
He is adorable! (and unknowingly funny). Can't wait to find out what you have to share with us! -Jenn

ReplyDeleteAhhh the dreaded Colonoscopy. the prep is the worst part of course! but you know that now. after seeing him, through prep.

ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that little story is gonna follow him into adulthood, and it should as it's too good NOT to repeat!!
I hope you are saving these form him - that is just precious and he can get away with it.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember the old Art Linkletter Show on TV. "Kids say the darnest things, LOL

ReplyDeleteOh, pure sweetness. I love these pics of CJK, and they brought back memories of my own son. He used to LOVE Woody! Played with him all the time. No, we just can't make these things up. They are said by our babies out of the goodness of their hearts. Such a cute post today, Diana.
ReplyDeletelove, ~Sheri
You have the most interesting stories at your house, Diana! Children are the best! Your CJK is just the cutest! Everyone is right about the prep being the worst part of THAT procedure, then it's a breeze. Have a great evening. ♥

That is so cute and so funny! Love the things our grands say! I will be having colonoscopy "fun" Monday morning. It's better now than when I worked at a hospital and got to have a team of co-workers in attendance at my colonoscopy! Much snorting, laughing and yes, "potty humor" before they knocked me out!
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny..Thanks for the laugh...I can always count on you..Adorable..
ReplyDeleteSO FUNNY!!! Your little grand is so darling! I needed the laugh today Diana :)))
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't getting old fun???
Have a great weekend my dear.
hugs...
OMG out of the mouths of babes. He is just too cute. I sure needed this laugh tonight.
ReplyDeleteLoved your decor post too and the sweet little painting on the slate board. Me too back in the day. It's all coming back but in farmhouse style.
Do you need rain?? We are raining buckets and flooding here. Had 5 3/4" rain here before noon today. Hubbies flight canceled to get home today from the midwest.
I'll make popcorn for dinner tonight. LOL
Have a great weekend. xo
Oh my gosh, too funny, Diana! I bet you had coffee coming out of your nose after hearing that one!! As long as your Hero never uses that line, you will be ok!! What a cutie pie, just look at those eyes!!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable! You're so right...no one could make up the things little ones say. :) I certainly don't envy anyone having a colonoscopy! The prep is so miserable. I think I have to have one next year...can't remember and try to forget! My gastro Dr will remind me for sure ~
