PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR RONDELL @ SOMETHING NICE & PRETTY

Sometimes as I am writing
kind of a nonsensical post
I wonder
WHY DO I BLOG?

I tell myself I blog because I want a record of life
for my grandkids to read someday.
I know I blog because it keeps me focused
and I get more things done
(believe it or not).

But lately I have been thinking that
SOMETIMES this BLOGGING
has been taken out of my
earthly hands and is being directed
by
SOMEONE BIGGER THAN I!

I get emails asking for prayer.
Now why is that?
Let me tell you- it is NOT because
of anything I do!
It is from a power beyond mine
that makes
people like my sweet blogging friend,
RONDELL
from
contact me to ask for prayer.
She said I could share as much as I wanted to
about what is happening to her.
Here is an email from her.

Hi Diana, I'm emailing you because I need prayers from my friends in blogland, I hate to ask for help that's why I'm just now asking. I just got home from the hospital last Friday
after a week being a patient there, I had a perforated gallbladder which really took a toll on me, thank God I quit smoking two
years ago or I wouldn't have made it. As it was I almost died late last Saturday, the surgeon wouldn't operate because I ate that day, my blood pressure took a nose dive & I woke up to about eight nurses in the room and five blankets on me and still shaking so hard I couldn't stop.
I need prayers from my sweet friends to heal and keep a positive attitude to get well, I'm so sore:)

She is a lot like me.
She hates to ask for help from others but
SOMETIMES
that is
WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO.
So, if you will, please send up a prayer
for Rondell to be returned to full health.
If you don't pray please send her
warm, good healing wishes.
I know she will love you for it
and I love you, too.

I will give you an update on Rondell
when I get one.

Prayers going up-Rondell-
Prayers going up!

We all so appreciate those prayers. I think this blogging community can move mountains. I remember when one of your followers helped with the diagnosis of your grandson. I know that the prayers from here helped my DIL. It seemed like nothing was getting better for Krista. Then all of a sudden I could almost feel those prayers coming in. She feels the same way. Hugs

  44. Never be afraid to ask for prayer! I know no earthly being that does not need prayer! Someday's I feel like I pray so much God must have a tired ear! I am adding your friend to my prayer list. Please pray for us, we are heading to Kansas in the early A.M., my hubby, Hannah and myself to get Nick home for the summer. We are having lots of rain and I hope we do not hit a lot of bad weather. You are a doll, I will pray for you too! Because you are my sweet friend. :-)

  46. Praying for her right now! Claiming the verse I claimed after my surgery "the Lord says: I will restore your health and heal your wounds".
It is hard being home that first two weeks and I imagine she has an incision. It has been three months since my surgery and I am so thankful to the Lord for His grace on me. Also, for the prayers of so many. Going to Rondell's blog right now.
    Hugs, Noreen

  48. Diana, I agree that these things come from a Source much larger than humanity. I'm glad that others feel comfortable bringing these concerns forward so we can all pray and send positive energy to those in need. Now, I ask "WHY?" do we hesitate to ask for help??? I know I'm right there too! We don't want to bother anyone, we don't want to really admit that we might need help, we *should* be able to handle it on our own, etc.
I feel honored to join in prayer and wish Rondell peace and healing. What an ordeal for her ~ I'm just so sorry.

    xo

  50. Prayers for Rondell to be restored and healed up. Rondell, last year I had a nasty ulcer explode and perforate my intestine. It was not a good experience, but I thank God I can tell you I am well and trusting you will be soon, too. I pray that you take good care of yourself and rest. I am thrilled for you that you quit smoking, too!
