You remember last week I told you
my stomach was bothering me?
Well, it is no better.
I went to the doctor yesterday.
Apparently, I don't have a virus so that is
ONE GOOD THING.
That means I haven't infected any of the kids.
I am on a course of treatment for a few days
so I am going to snuggle down,
watch some crappy old movies,
thumb through my Christmas magazines & books
and stay under a heated blanket
because I have chills.
Don't worry-
I will be fine-I just didn't want to leave you hanging..
waiting on me and wondering where I am.
Guess my new curtains will wait a few days, too.
Darn it!
I'll be back soon to regale you with
a few more snickers pictures-
like this one!
Personally-I have always loved a man in a bow tie.
I don't usually expect to see one in Walmart though!
See you shortly!
So very sorry you are not well. Praying you feel better soon.
ReplyDeletewait....that's my husband. how did you get his picture? Feel better sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon! If it weren't for you're being sick, it almost sounds like what you've got planned for resting could be fun! :)
ReplyDeleteBlack and white movies have more vitamins ! : )
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. Taking some time off from blogging is good although you will be missed. Big hugs and be blessed... :)
ReplyDeleteTake care and REST! Don't worry about anything either! That's doctor's orders! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiana, You'll be in my thoughts and prayers....so get well soon. Oh I can totally see his panty lines. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI hope you get well and feel better soon. Rest up and rest! Take care.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Get well soon, Diana! Don't watch crappy movies; watch good ones! How about Christmas classics?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Sending along my very best wishes for a speedy recovery, Diana. I hate that you are still being bothered by this! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Do as told. And rest. and watch lots of crappy movies. (Oh some of those Hallmark ones are... ding-dang-crappy, so they will fill the bill! -gigggles-)
ReplyDeleteListen to your docs. And come out the other side, happily happy.
Hey, I did! Last Sun I went in hospital, with what I feared were Heart Symptoms. After all sorts of wonderful tests, came out, with a clean bill of Heart Health. !!!!!!! You will end with a nice, happy, tummy bill of health!!!
Actually, that "stomach bug" idea, isn't so. Usually people ate something "turned" or etc. Check with your docs. Isn't the "stomach virus" a false but usable term??? :-)
Hope you feel well soon, Diana!
ReplyDeleteYou get better friend...I know how it feels to be sick. Rest up and watch a ton of crappy movies! We will be here when you get back! Love Nicole xo
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and we'll see you in a few days....hugs....
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you are still not well. I hope you have a diagnosis though and that it isn't going to last long.
ReplyDeleteTake care, keep warm and STOP with those photos! LOL! Is that a man or woman???
ReplyDeletewarmly,
deb
Awww...the good news is you have a virus and the bad news is that you must rest and watch sappy movies and read some books. Feel betterer soon! (Are these pics for real? Is that guy really wearing a bra and bowtie with his pink underwear showing? Crazy!)
ReplyDeleteFeel better sweetie. DO NOT watch that new julia roberts/meryl streep flick that is on hbo right now. (something orange county) It is so sad. They just yell at each other the whole time.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you see if you can binge on OUTLANDER...Ooh la la....men in kilts will wash away the thought of your walmart photo
Diana... hope you are feeling your old chipper self soon! Take care.
ReplyDeleteGet better! And I'm glad you didn't infect the children. But - a virus might have been easier. I don't know what you have but viruses normally run their course and you are fine in a couple of days. I hope the treatment you are on works well with no side effects.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon! Stay cozy!
ReplyDeleteRest up and feel better my friend!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break, pretty lady, and rest up! I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling all that great.... Sending you hugs and prayers!
ReplyDeleteRelax, and refresh as you mend dear Diana! Hopeful you will be ready to conquer your world once more! I am not to sure if shopping at your Walmart may have something to do with your aliment! Yikes!!!! ; )
ReplyDeletePrayers coming your way.<3
Cuddle up with your blankie and stay warm as a bug in a rug, praying you'll be feeling better soon so you can eats lots of turkey and pumpkin pie. Sending hugs your way.
ReplyDeleteDiana I'm sending spending recovery kisses, I feel bad for you. again I'm over the top amazed at people's fashion choices, I guess they live without any mirrors!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Hope you are feeling better soon, Diana...and turn on the Hallmark Channel...xoxo
ReplyDeleteGet plenty of peaceful rest, and I'll keep you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteBow - tie. Sheesh!
Hope you feel better soon! It was so cold last week I snuggled up on the sofa under a warm blanket for three days, and I wasn't sick! Did watch everything on my DVR though. :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry you are feeling yucky - sometimes you just have to take the time to rest with your feet up. This time of year the 'bugs' are getting passed around - I woke up with laryngitis this morning - which made my hubby very happy :) He tried to appear sympathetic but I saw the happy dance he did when he walked away.....Enjoy those movies. I like a man in a bow-tie, too, but I think the sunhat really adds to the whole ensemble. xo Karen
ReplyDeleteTake some time for you Diana - I don't know where you get your energy - but your body is telling you to take a break ( NANA Diana NEEDS to take a break LOL )
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Take plenty of time to rest up. Hope you feel better soon. :) That Walmart pic is hilarious! Such characters!
ReplyDeleteI'm almost jealous...would love to watch some old movies...sure hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteLater.... I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkk....
ReplyDeleteDon't know what your tummy symptoms are, but... Over time, I had just about all gut issues possible. Complete with the gas and all the other stuff. I began referring to it, as IBS. I had 'em, until I went Gluten Free. On my own.
Never tested. Don't need to be. Because! After some time, Gluten Free, I was WITHOUT all those GUT ISSUES!!!!
I was tested for Lactose Intolerance, and am positive. But I can have SOME dairy, if I take over-the-counter Lactaid. Not much dairy, but some. But there are wonderful Goat Cheeses and Coconut Milk and etc. So L/F is not horrible.
NOOOOOO pill for Gluten though. If you are Sensitive, you can NOT have ANY Gluten. But the no pain and no diarreah and no gas and no urgency and no etc., etc., etc. are WORTH it. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I could suggest to every person who has gut issues, to try it. Go completely Gluten Free for 2 or 3 weeks. If you ARE Gluten Sensitive, you will be amazed at how wonderful you feel. Without ingesting it. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I'd suggest trying no Lactose too. Lactose Intolerance causes many of the same horrid gut issues.
Just saying... Just my experience.... Just saying...
Tessa~

Wishing you a speedy recovery, my dear. I am just emerging from a three day sinus headache/sore throat/cough. The worse part is fretting over things gone undone while recovering. But I hope you will somehow "enjoy" the down time and come bouncing right back soon - in the same way "Mister Bow Tie" seems to be relishing life!
ReplyDeleteTake care Diana and feel better soon. Enjoy your magazines too..... And count your blessings that the Walmart mans not your hubby!

ReplyDeleteTake good care of yourself. I speak from experience this past summer. I'm so sorry you are having a rough time. Praying for your recovery. Have you made it out to Walmart in your pjs? Our good friend Sweet Tea is also sick and in the hospital. Both of you need to get well. Pronto.
