WOW!
You sure let me know which table
YOU WANT to be seated at!
Not even a close call.
Hands down-Runaway
WINNER is
Table #3
PLANKED & PRETTY.
It had almost triple the votes of any other table.
You guys are SERIOUS about your votes!
I hope this table is about 100 feet long so everyone can sit there!
Second place was #1
Sweetly Sophisticated
And running a close 3rd was
#6- Sit Down With Citrus
Which one got NO VOTES?
Balloons and Buckets For The Bride.
Guess they can use those buckets for barfing in
now that they know NO ONE likes that
wedding venue!
As for me?
Well, I am still putzing around-gardening and
I helped my daughter set her new house to rights.
SO-
IF you are very good and promise not to
eat the last of the strawberry shortcake
and then swear there was none left-
then tomorrow I
will be back with another little

How did I miss this post? I love to play along. I like the sit down citrus! See you soon, boo! xo
ReplyDeleteI would have chosen the winner too - had I not been ditzy and missed the original contest! LOL about the barf buckets! There's just something about that setting that doesn't seem intimate and elegant like the others - I'd grab the champagne though!
ReplyDeleteDiana, I like that winner table. It is amazing how much work in involved with planting and cleaning our yards. Glad things are moving right along . Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeletethey were all beautiful tables. Ghost in the pantry? This I got to see.
ReplyDeleteYAY!! I picked the winner!!
ReplyDeleteOh, a ghost...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait!
Drat! I missed the voting, but would have picked the winner!
ReplyDeleteNot surprised. That setting was gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThis is always such fun! I love the winner....maybe I could set my table like that for two! lol Enjoy your day! It's a fun time of year...BUSY, too! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis is always fun! Interesting results, though. #1 is a little too fussy for me, and I'm not a fan of the citrus colored one. I'd have absolutely no trouble choosing #3, though. Have a good Thursday, Diana! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteNow you have me questioning my table setting for high school reunion dinner. I have little red and white buckets I was going to fill with candy for each place setting. From the votes, it looks like I should go with roses instead.
ReplyDeleteLoved all the tables, really....but the #1 seems perfect to me.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the photo of Mother and Daughter and same necklace...not MY mother and ME...that is ME and MY daughter....She posted the photo on Facebook and I stole it from her. :)
Having just tallied all the results from yesterday's post (I thought it would never end!), I think you're onto something big here. Glad that mY table won. Ha!
ReplyDeleteWell I missed the voting but agree with the others. Gorgeous!!!! Have fun putzing :-)
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! "a ghostly presence in the pantry!" ohhhhhhhhhh super!!!
ReplyDeletebut after this tease, there had _better_ be one!!!!!!!!!
must! must! must! must!
,-))))

Woohoo, my table won! The second runner up is so pretty, I almost picked that one. Hope you will be setting at the head of the table:)
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love weddings! I'll get dressed now and be at that beautiful table in two shakes of a lamb's tail!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Balloons for a wedding? No. Not a fan of that. I can't wait to hear about the ghostly presence.
ReplyDeleteI think both the first and the second table are beautiful and I think I might have a hard time choosing between them Diana.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day my friend.
hugs from me.
Wow, these are all beautiful. Difficult to pick a favorite. Thanks for sharing these eye catching tables. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThe winner was my favorite too. So pretty! Now I can't wait to see the ghost!! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like that first table...guess I have missed some posts lately. Bad me. Going back to see if there is anything I can use against you later. Mwa!
ReplyDeletere: your question on my post...
ReplyDeleteyes, that is her daddy, in both photos. when she was tiny, and now, when she is 22 and he was with her, when she graduated university.
thank you. we think he is handsome and special, too.

I just loved table #3. Being a ex Catering Director - that would be a wonderful tablescape, but probably very expensive. Most catering places do not carry that type of table, candle sticks or dishes, so you would have to go to a outside vendor for those items and very EXPENSIVE, but oh so lovely
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Friday's post.
Mary
OK, but I warned your about elbows on that table. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time playing at the new house!
That table is soooooooooo gorgeous, love all the mercury glass.
ReplyDeleteOnly you would think of that reason for the buckets !! They could have been passed around for gifts?money ?? Can't wait for the "ghostie"..
ReplyDeleteI will make no such promise! I will get that last piece of strawberry shortcake, Diana.
ReplyDeleteYou'll still show me your ghost because you love me.
I'm surprised that the one I chose wasn't more popular. Guess it was too blue for some. I love it though! Looking forward to more of these fun posts.
ReplyDeleteI liked the plank one.
ReplyDeleteR
I loved the first one for its romantic appeal...but the third one is so different and loved the great colors!
ReplyDeleteWe all have such good taste in table-scape design ~ don't you agree? And BTW, the Wasn't any strawberry shortcake left so I just HAD to eat the Reece's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard instead. Well, somebody had to :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad I did not vote for the balloons. I would've looked silly being the only one.
ReplyDeleteWow! I won! And plenty of wonderful people for company also! You cracked me up with your bucket joke! I look forward to tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteOnce again I am late to the party! I do love the one that won, but I'm a sucker for blue so I also liked the barn side blues reception. And your yard looks pretty enough to host a wedding...wow!
ReplyDeletexo Kat
The winner is gorgeous, but I'd be happy to sit at any of them!
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't get here soon enough! However..I choose the winner also.. Gosh..I need to be more onnthe ball..lol As I love these posts..they are so fun!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Hi Diana, wow the one that I would have chosen won. :) I think all were lovely though. I hope everyone is doing well. I will try to stop by more often now that we have the internet again....YIPPIE!! :) With my limited internet on my phone I have stopped in a few times.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog when I have been able to go to the library to post. I appreciate that you have been concerned about me and mom. She is well by the way. I posted a couple of times in the last week or so. :)
Have a great Friday, take care, Janet W
Hi! What pretty tables. Trying to get back into blogging and catching up with you. Hope you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeletewoot-i planked
ReplyDeleteI missed the vote, but I love the planked table. I'm a fan of mixing rustic and elegant. Except I do wonder if you can really see anything with high centerpieces???
ReplyDeleteWell I agree with all those votes.
ReplyDeleteI figured...mine didn't even place! Lol
