  5. Perhaps, little ones can "do-that-innocent-look" so well, simply because they really feel innocent. They haven't been around (us) for long enough yet, to have had all the "you-did-bad-stuff" into their little heads. They are still able to "live-in-the-moment". Which moments are hopefully, nice. They haven't had "good-bad-guilt-over-bad etc." drilled into their little heads yet. So their "moments" remain guilt free and happy.

    And thus, they are happy and innocent. So they look happy and innocent.

    Maybe...?
