Many of you have emailed me to ask about
OUR LITTLE CJK!
Here he is after getting out of the hospital
sitting on Santa's lap.
Love that little grin and the way he is
resting his arm on Santa's tummy.
Does anyone else see a
red and white halo around his little head?
He went back to the doctor this week for
blood work and a physical.
Hooray- Hooray!
He got a clean bill of health.
His blood work is good and he has been
taken off the baby aspirin to thin his blood.
God is good!
We are so blessed!
Now, as for me-
I NEVER get sick!
I NEVER get colds or the flu!
Guess what?
I got one...or both....
what a nice crappy surprise.
Bear with me and I will be around to visit
as I can.
Just don't get too close to the screen
in case what I have is contagious!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Im glad that sweet boy is all better! and I hope you get better soon! Im not getting near you!
ReplyDeleteI hope inspite of not feeling well, that you have a nice weekend
xoxo

Feel better soon.

Glad his tests came back clean. and now you go back to bed, and make your hero take care of you.....no wait, on 2nd thought, don't let him near you, you'll be taking care of him soon, and we all know men always get sicker than women....lol

Great news for your grandson! Feel better Diana!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to know your grandson has a clean bill of health, now he can get back to all the fun things he likes to do. Feel better soon Diana!!!Nurse Barbara is going to tell you to get lots of rest and loads of fluids especially if you are running a temp. If you do have a temp ibuprofen will definitely make you feel better. And it is safe to take up to 4 200mg tablets of ibuprofen every 4-6 hours. That is what we always gave in the ER!
ReplyDeleteTake care Diana and see you around blogland when you are better!
XO Barbara

ReplyDeleteDeb
Glad for the good news.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the bad. Take care and get over, what-ever-you-caught. -sighhhhhhh-
In Flu Season, I am petrified of getting sick. We always have our flu shots. But I have still had some pretty BAD sickness. Chest congestion being the worst aspect. Grrrrr.... I hate Flu Season.
Tessa~
I'll take my chances with the risk of screen-through contagion!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
Thrilled to hear the news about CJK! The new year is off to a good start! Well, except for the fact that you are not feeling well. Drink lots of fluids and have some chicken soup! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHooray!Hooray! God has shown down just when needed to be. His grin reminds me of my one grandson and that means he is up to something. CJ looks so much like his daddy. You know the drill that you have to drink the fluids, soup, and rest.I am sending you many hugs and prayers that you rebound quickly. I had my flu shot, but I am still careful. Take care and get well. Many Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that CJ is well now. What a relief! Sorry to hear that you're not, however. Maybe it's from all the stress you were under over the holidays and the bad weather. Hope you start feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that sweet baby boy is all better! That was so scary to go through, I'm sure. Sorry you're not feeling well. Sending lots of healing prayers. Take care and get lots of rest this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that your grandson is well...so, so scary what happened. Hope you will be feeling better soon. Lou and I both had this "cold" thing that had a horrible hacking cough. (I think we got it from the grandkids)
ReplyDeleteFeel better my friend. The flu is nasty this year. Make sure and call the doctor if it gets worse. That little baby is just adorable. I am surprised that he is so at ease with Santa right after his hospital experience. He is one special baby, halo and all.
ReplyDeleteGet well Diana. No one ever wants to have a flu hit them. My daughter got it bad this year and she even had a flu shot months ahead so there is no guarantee.
ReplyDeleteWonderful news about your grandson! You get plenty of rest and take care of yourself!!
ReplyDeleteDiana, So very glad CJK is better! He is such a cutie. As for you dear friend, I'll be praying that you don't have H1N1; have your hubby make you some chicken soup. My brother is just getting over a cold that is highly contagious and bad-he was in the ER several times. Get some sleep.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Noreen
Oh, what a sweet picture! I'm so glad he is okay! This is the best time for the flu... If that is possible! Take care and snuggle in. Hope you feel better already!
ReplyDeleteAwww!! What a precious picture, he is a little doll!! Sooo glad he is out of the hospital and doing better! It is so scary when the little ones are sick. You just feel so helpless :(
ReplyDeleteBut I am so sorry you now have the flu! It is so bad this year, my hubby has it right now too :( I hope you feel better soon. Your blog is such a bright spot in my days!
Love to you all,
Amy
ps, I took your advice and got rid of the double moderation, thank you so much for bringing it to my attention! I didn't even realize I had it like that, lol xo
So glad to hear your grand is healthy! And as for you take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteDon't be worrying about visiting. Reading your comments is reading enough. Sleep, sleep, sleep, and have a bit of tea and toast and never be without your echinacea again! I swear it's all this driving around in white-outs....
ReplyDeleteHi Diana! What great news about your grandson, prayer works!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon, I had that right at New Years Day early morning...not fun!
I'm so glad to read the good news about this little sweetie. And I hope you'll rest and feel better soon! don't worry about anything else...just get well soon! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat news about your sweet grandson! Yippee!! Now, take care of yourself and get over that bug quickly, okay? We'll see you here again when you feel better!
ReplyDeleteYAYYYYYY ! I am so glad that your little guy is better. :) What a sweet picture with Santa. Love it. Oh and the Greenbay shirt is great too. My hubby is a big Greenbay fan.
ReplyDeleteWe are rooting for Seahawks now since we are in WA. They play the 49ers tomorrow. Whoever wins it goes to the Superbowl against Patriots or Broncos.
Sorry you are feeling yuckie. I hope that you can feel better soon. Take care of you. Stay in and keep warm. Will be prayin' for you.
Janet W oxox

Hurray for CJK, and the wonderful news!!! So sorry you are under the weather. I caught a terrible head cold last week, and am finally better. My Elie came down with the flu just before Christmas, the tamiflu helped tremendously!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww, that sweet baby boy. So happy for all of you that he is well! Thank the Lord!
ReplyDeleteAnd do get well. I was sick with the cruddy crud just before Christmas. Hope it's gone soon.

So glad he's back to normal! Awesome news! Your flu news sucks though. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Just sit back, relax and let MyHero wait on you hand and foot :)
ReplyDeleteSo very happy baby boy is bouncy again! Now for you, who have been through a stressful holiday season, rest - rest-rest. And feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that CJK is good..Wish you were..Get better soon..The world needs you..Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, Oh I am so thrilled to hear the good news that sweet CJK is doing good and got a clean bill of health. What a blessing. Yes, God is so good and prayers have been answered.
ReplyDeleteI so hope you feel better soon.
Lots of liquids and chicken soup will help. I wish I could bring some over.
Sending get well wishes and no hugs this time. Don't want the flu!! LOL
Feel Better!
Praise God he's ok! Now, let's get you well. Please rest and drink lots of fluids! The flu is an epidemic here and so many deaths...just horrible. It's really nothing to ignore my friend. Dr's have advised to see a physician ASAP if you have symptoms, within the first 48 Tamiflu RX really helps. They are even running out of it.

Be better my friend. Your immune system is run down.
ReplyDeleteThe way you have been running around
before Christmas, after Christmas. With wee sweetie ill.
I am surprised you were not laid up sooner.
Oh how I love to see him with Santa.
Love his wee arm placed on Ho Ho's belly.
Amen to a great report for him.
Now you put your feet up my lady.
Drink your hot drinks.
You remember what your Mommy said when you were a little girl.
Chicken soup. Hot lemon with honey. Wool socks in bed.
Vicks on your chest. Ha-ha
Don't get out of bed unless you have to go to the bathroom.
Ha-ha.
I followed suit with my kids.
Laughing here.
When it came to Grand kids.
My family said.
Don't you dare put Vicks rub on there chest Grandma.
I'm so happy that your little man is doing so well. He's such a little doll.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are resting, young lady. What do you expect galavanting out in a blizzard? ;)
This will be the third time I've tried to comment, so I hope it goes thru to you!
xxx, T.

ReplyDeleteWonderful news about CJK! Hope you feel better soon!~~Ang
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that CJK is better...he sure is a cutie! I'm sorry that YOU are feeling "poorly" now. Do you know that this is the worst year we have had ever in our hospital unit for nurses coming down with the flu even AFTER getting the mandated flu shot at work? Even some of our baby patients have gotten it which is very unusual.
ReplyDeleteDon't send any flu to me - Andy just had the worst stomach flu I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI do see the red and white halo around his neck - adorable as usual.
And I am so glad he is doing so well - it is a miracle!
sandie
CJK is looking happy and healthy...God is good. And he'll do the same for you too!! He answers prayer. Just get lots of rest that is the best for the body so healing can start.

ReplyDeleteso glad to see the little guy and to hear he's gotten better...he's so stinkin cute....and now for you...I hope you get better real soon....did you get your flu shot this year?.....I hate leaving the house with all the sick kids that parents feel the need to drag with them to the grocery store....leave them home so we all don't catch whatever it is they have...I love kids really :)
