Sunday Prayer Plea For A Peanut

Well, old bean,
as Tammy  from Peanut On The Table would say.
However, Happiness has been elusive lately.
We need some prayers here.
Some prayers for wise decisions.
Tammy had just gone through some pretty
extensive cancer surgery.
They "think they got it all".
Her doctor, however, wants to continue
with radioactive iodine treatments.
This will make her terribly sick and
means that her already
 compromised immune system
will take a hit- a big hit.

She has prayed on it and thought about it
and decided not to do any further treatment(s).
We have written back and forth several times
and I would like to ask you to pray
that they did
"get it all"
and that she has peace
with the decision she has made.

She is a believer in God and personal healing.
Please pray for her...
and if you like to be entertained
you can always find a bit of fun on her blog.

Thanks so much-
I am off to the pumpkin patch with all the littles
and a few of the bigs today!

  10. Tammy is a sweet special woman with a fascinating blog. Any of the selections on her favorite posts sidebar will delight a reader. I would recommend one that Tammy pointed me toward, Away with the Manger! Read it and you'll see her talent for storytelling and her fabulous wit. And in any of the posts, her shining spirit.

Constant prayers for Tammy as God leads her to get all of her health back and much love to her always,
    Dewena

  27. it's late for me. though I see it's only 8:30 pm. LOLOL.
what an exciting life i lead.
but couldn't go to bed without thanking all of your readers here nana d.
they are the most uplifting group i've ever seen! not a single solitary negative thought about my decision to forego the radioactive stuff. if my heart were strong i might. but i'm being guided that it's not the right time to stress it even more.
I listen well to my 'little quiet voice within' now. it is God. and i'm never let down. and i'm not afraid. i am joyful!
thank you nana d for your beautiful support.
and if those giggle heads aren't perfect medicine i don't know what is!!!
love to you dear one. and thank you.
    XOXOXO tammyj

  33. Diana,
You always make me laugh..... even when sharing something as touching as this.
Both my brother in law and son in law both have cancer. It's tough. Both are currently going through treatment.
I am so glad to hear that Tammy is on her way to recovery. She is now on my prayer list. I pray every single day and I absolutely believe in God's divine healing.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

  34. I sure will pray for her. Just at bible study last week - someone decided no chemo on breast cancer - she said there was some test you could take and the percentage it would help would only be 3%. Chemo is not work that. Now she is okay. And I pray that for your dear friend.
