Please take a moment today
and offer up a prayer for
the people in Colorado.
There are many blogging friends that live there.
They have airlifted more people
than they did during Hurricane Katrina.
There are many, many people missing.
Please pray for their safety..
Unbelievable. It could be any one of us.
I am on the road today but
I will try to check in tonight.
Thanks for praying for our friends.
Isn't it just awful. A friend of ours moved there earlier this year near Denver and we're wondering how he's doing. I hope a lot of these people that are missing will be accounted for soon and that they're ok. Prayers for them all.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear...they do, indeed, need all the prayers they can get.
ReplyDeleteBe safe on the road.
xoxo bj
Oh, wow Diana...I don't really watch tv so I didn't know about this, how terrible. They will be in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteVery scary to see scenes like that...
ReplyDeleteJust unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteI was there a month ago and during that time too there was unusual drizzles.
So sad for their situation, hope they are safe. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteRelentless, isn't it? The power of all that rain. Life's changed forever in a week or day or moment. Yes, praying for them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible thing . . . they are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteShocking. Definitely praying for them.
ReplyDeletejust so very scary...been praying for sure as I have a niece in college in Bolder!
ReplyDeleteIt's all so sad :( Praying for them all.
ReplyDeleteI didn't hear about this; will have to catch up on the news. I will say a prayer for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove,
~Sheri
The news is just horrific, isn't it? Certainly keeping them all in my prayers! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana, I'll be praying along with you. These disasters could happen to any of us at any time. It's a good time to remember to hug those around you too.
ReplyDeleteDiana, it's just been one horrible event after another, my heart goes out to the people who are suffering through this horrible weather.
ReplyDeleteAdding my prayers to those of others.
Jen
Flooding is terrifying and so dangerous -- and the cleanup that these people will come home to (if their homes still exist) will be grueling.
ReplyDeleteThey have my prayers, for sure, and also my deep empathy; we are flood veterans, several times over.
God bless the Colorado flood victims, and may the missing be found safe.
Cass
Such a horrific tragedy. I have friends in Colorado who have been affected by the floods. My heart and prayers go out to them.

I prayed as soon as it showed on tv Nan.
ReplyDeleteOne never knows what to-morrow brings.
Very sad. Plus reading in your blog.
One man moved there, another has been
there and you have bloggers living there.
Now more bad news a shooting on tv.
Shooters apparently. Navy Rampage.
Press conferece in a minute. So more prayers needed.
As so many rumors have been around.
Prayers said!
ReplyDeleteDiana, You hit the nail on the head with "it could be anyone of us." The people of Colorado have had a rough time this year...fires and now floodings...there will be mudslides also. Who knows what will be washed out after all that hard rain and flooding. I have been praying for all of the U.S. there's many sad things going on that we can't control. God be with us all. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI will continue to pray. Please be safe on the roads today!
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweet Diana, for the people in my state. I live 2 hours are from this, but my sister and her family live in Denver. Thankfully, they are okay and safe. I and many others appreciate your prayers, friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Diana it is a shame what they are going through. My prayers are with all of those people in Colorado. Hope you enjoy your day today.
ReplyDeleteBe safe.
Kris
this is so bad. My brother's son and family live there and they were so close to all this devastation but blessed to be safe and doing well. The pictures I see on television are so sad. Prayers for all. xo
ReplyDeletethanks for the reminder, Diana. A good friend has a son, dil and grands in that area. They are unaffected so far.
ReplyDeletePraying, Ginger
The heartbreak and fear, loss and devastation... Simply unimaginable. Much love and prayers. Hugs from MO.
ReplyDeleteThis is horrific. All these places are close to where my daughter and her family live. She is dry so far but so tired of the rain. She is so close to it all. Friends and co-workers are stranded. Everything closed. Boudler is a mess. Everytime I hear another name of a town it is one that we have been too often. I keep checking on her and she thinks I worry too much. I don't know how they will rebuilt all those roads. Or those houses all lost. So so sad. Please do pray.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, prayers for them, the TV footage is unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteCarol
I can't imagine what they are going through...and the people at the Washington Navy yard..
ReplyDeleteSo true, Diana, it could indeed be any of us. How sad, I never knew that CO even got that much rain. I am keeping them in my prayers.
ReplyDeletePraying! Lots of people to pray for these days.
ReplyDeleteThere is such need today! You're always one of the first to ask for prayers! You're such a sweet light in some dark times! I'm remembering them in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteI am praying for all those in peril in Colorado. Those raging rivers that we have seen on TV are just so powerful and destructive.
ReplyDeleteRaging waters are terrifying to me. Thank you for always reminding us at we are not powerless. We can pray.
ReplyDeleteMan that is so bad there - it is crazy. And prayers for them for sure.
ReplyDeleteSo scary. I have family in Colorado. I have been sending up prayers. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteOur world has changed... we can't take safety for granted anymore. Definitely praying!
ReplyDeleteVery tragic. Mother Nature in all her beauty can be cruel at times. Yes, it could happen to any one of us. I believe we are all connected so my heart aches for those in peril. Sending prayers to all.
