Answers to ASK ME ANYTHING

Whew!
First off- I am going to have to break this down
into a couple of posts.
What fun questions some of you had.
Before I start answering question
these are some of the things I saw
in the last couple of days.

I will answer one question
right off the bat-
Laurie asked me-
Why are Tete and Jettie NOT allowed
to ask you questions?
Here is why!
As soon as they saw that they couldn't
they started e-mailing me.
Here is a sample of their questions!
Do you stuff your bra with tissue paper or foam?
Do you like granny panties or tighties?
At least she didn't ask if I wore a thong!
How many WARTS do you have? seriously, Jettie
When you get up in the middle of the night,
do you dribble as you walk?
Do you slurp your soup,
or do you eat it daintly like the rich folk?
Have you read 50 shades of gray?
In the middle of the night,
when no-one is watching,
do you sneak food,
saying those calories don't count?
Are you REALLY blond?

Now-Do you see WHY?
These are both very intelligent
middle aged women
who revert to 6th grade behavior
when they think they can
GET ME!
AND I should have added
my ex-sister-in-law, Ellie,
to the No Questions roster but I didn't think
her computer was working.
DARN IT!

So...
Moving along to the REAL questions!
I had several questions that asked
How do you keep up?
Well, for starters I am very organized.
That can be a talent or a curse-lol
I sleep 6 hours maybe 6-1/2 at the most.
If I sleep more than that I am groggy,
When I get up- I make sure I have my post up,
I drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee,
and watch the local news.
I also read any comments
that came in during the night.
I then have a "list" of things I do-
Sweep through kitchen,
make the bed,
throw a load of laundry in,
do an odd job or two like mirrors or dusting.
After I do my little morning chores I sit down,
pour myself MORE coffee
(Donna asked how many cups- 6 to 8 a day,
Awful, I know.  Hey-it's better than vodka, right?;>)
Then I sit down with my laptop
 and answer any unanswered comments
I have waiting for me.
If I have time I will also visit a few blogs.
Then my day takes off from there.
I might go grocery shopping or run a few errands
or I might sew or paint something.
If I am out and about
I try to be hone by 3pm and I sit down with
my computer and Dr. Phil (yes-I-do)
I answer a few more comments and/or
visit a few more blogs while his show is on.
Then, I usually make dinner.
I might then go to kid's volley ball game
or run one of the grandkids somewhere.
OR
We watch a bit of TV and then
when hubby goes to bed
(He goes to bed early
because of his schedule at the hospital)
I spend about 2+ hours on blogging.
I am a VERY fast typist-
seriously fast.
On weekends I usually have kids
so just speed things up a bit with
chores and don't spend as much
time blogging.

Okay- That took way longer than I thought
and I don't want to bore you all.
Tomorrow I will answer several more questions
about how I grew my blog, etc.

Thanks for all the questions.
Some are fun and some are crazy
(not mentioning any names Jettie, Tete, Ellie)

Thanks for hanging in here with me
while I am traveling.
Headed East from Munising, MI
this morning.

ps.  You can continue to ask any questions
you might have!

  1. You are the most twisted of us, so I wonder what your questions would be if this was all turned around. 6th grade behavior? I resent that. I think we are strictly working from a 4th grade level myself. I have a couple more questions here, too. Wood or glass eye and what type of denture cream do your use? Boxers or briefs and I have the secret to your success. People come here to see what SweetCheeks is up to...not saying that you aren't funny and all that, but that kid's got you beat hands down.
Have a good day away from home and find something fun to do. It will give Jettie and I time to talk about you behind your back.
Love you bunches, you crazy blonde.

  2. Oh, and I thought my four or five cups of coffee was alot! Your day sounds a lot like mine. But, I get a bit more sleep.

  3. I'll bet she uses bubble gum to stick those teeth in, Tete.
And I did think of a thong, but decided you'd forget you had it on, in the rolls of fluffy that sweet cheeks says you have.
And Tete wants to know, if we act like 6th graders, does that make us smarter than a 5th grader?
Love yas Gal, and have fun, while Tete and I think up more questions.

    You silly silly woman, you.....:))

  6. ...and besides all that...how can you get 6 hrs sleep, drinking all that coffee...and how many times a night do you go to the bathroom...and are those trips made with your eyes open or shut....???
AND...how in the world can you stand to watch DR. PHIL..???
    :>)

  13. I am still laughing over those goofy questions, Diana! I had tears in my eyes over the thong! 6-8 cups? I'm surprised you manage to sleep at all. And how many Diet Coke's do you drink?? Ok, I am totally let down that you watch Dr. Phil. That guy has the biggest ego ever!!:)

  21. I am going to go check out that bj. Sounds like Jettie and mine's kind of gal!
I think the next post should be for questions to ask SweetCheeks stuff about you. After all, she doesn't lie about a thing!

  22. Hey sweet lady! Your day sounds like mins, except you sound like you have way more energy than me :) I will enjoy reading more tomorrow. Safe travels!

    Hugs!

  23. Where do we find this BJ?
Who can spit farther, you or your hero?

  24. Good Morning Diana, I have enjoyed catching up with you this morning. I join you with the coffee, drink way to much. Enjoy the humor of your post. I let everybody else ask the questions. 20/30 in new eye and glasses on the other isn't a fun way to type, but I manage. They are scheduling the right eye. I am not an earlier riser any more, but then I stay up later. Amazing what not working anymore does to you. Have a wonderful trip and I want to see more pictures. Ha. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.

  25. Seriously, Diana, do you have a Cinderella complex or something? lol I was expecting you to add to your long list of chores you do, the 'clean out all the cinders in the fireplace.' LOL You're a real go-getter. I'm feeling lazier by the minute. But I too only sleep about 6 hours max, then 3-4 c. coffee in the morning and like to work FAST. :-)

    Honestly, some of those questions!!
Stay safe and have a great time. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wow, I really expected you to be on the computer like 6 hours a day. You must be speedy. lol Glad your enjoying your trip.
    xoxo

  27. Whew! I am tired just reading about your day! My goodness Nana Diana, I sure wish I had your energy. And I need a minimum of 8 hours sleep or I am useless!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I was trying to go rhru it and add the hours up! I can't really tell how long you are on the computer - 6 hours? Of course I am comparing to myself. Lol I am on there now around 4 5 hours. I was on a lot more when I posted every day. I need 8 hours sleep. And I can't start til around 9! lol

Love your answer and would love to know the answers to the others too.

  37. You forgot to say that you leave such encouraging comments, not that you would say that so I'll say it for you. I confess I have not read all of the above comments but I bet they would all echo what I say, "I still don't know how she does it--but it's so nice that she does."

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hahahaha! I loved the questions from those gals! So funny!
I wish I was half as organized as you - and I really wish I could function on 6 hours of sleep. I've always liked to sleep - as a baby I would sometimes sleep all night and not wake up till 11 or 12 in the morning!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Does this mean we'll never know the answers to those questions?

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm afraid our schedules are where we diverge. You have a schedule and I don't. I spend the first half of the day trying to decide what I will do with the second half.

    ReplyDelete
  41. lololol!!!! Ok....You, Jettie and Tete definitely need your own TV show or something, Diana. No question about it!!!! lol

    xoxo laurie

  42. So, is it tissue paper or foam???? Girlfriend you are such an open book, that is why you are so fun to visit. Whenever I write a personal post no one reads it lol! They just want to know how to do stuff. I seldom talk about anything personal, I wonder if people would be interested? OK, so here is my question. What does hubby do, you mentioned hospital and what does he think of your blogging, revealing personal information, and teasing him. My family totally does not get my blogging...Or really anything I do lol

    Carol

  43. that's a lot of coffee... I'd have to schedule a lot of bathroom breaks :)

Wish I could type fast... I actually do type fast. It just takes a while to correct mistakes!

Fun reading this post and getting to know you better! Sweet lady!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm not asking because I already know you are really Loni Anderson's secret twin! I won't believe you if you deny it! I do wonder if you live on the air in Cincinnati at WKRP or were you ever an assitant/receptionist there?

    ReplyDelete
  45. You make me tired! I just don't seem to accomplish near what you do and have no excuses! The questions were interesting and funny.

    Travel safe,
    .

  46. I could've followed you on the road today!
Tim and I headed East from Marquette this morning, but cut down to Hwy 2 since it had been a while since we'd seen Lake Michigan
Are you going to Grand Marais?
