Let The Run For The Roses Begin-CJK First Steps

Okay- So he's not really running 
for the ROSES
but he is walking towards
the Fairy Garden. 
which is a mess because it has been horribly neglected.

My son popped over to show me something
special.
Day before this CJK was sitting....
just plain sitting...
and smiling...
and waving.

However, this particular morning
my son lifted him out of his crib,
sat him on the floor and 
he got up and walked.

These are his first steps
OUTSIDE
on grass.
It lasts exactly
FOURTEEN SECONDS.
If you have kids you will remember these days,
if you don't have kids you can see for yourself
how precious those first steps are.
Enjoy!

    He's doing good! It won't be long and he'll be running.... and into everything.

    It is the most beautiful thing...to watch a baby walk the first time. How unsure, and yet confident, he is!

    Happy Monday. Oh how well we remember those days children walking. Now look at your son or hearing your son being excited to have show off time to family. His pride and Joy!

    How sweet and precious! I kept watching it over and over again! It's so amusing to see him enjoying his first steps! I find that he walked a long distance for the first time. I'm sending him a virtual hug. He's so adorable. I would have loved to have seen the look on his face when he fell. So cute!

    Oh how awesome! I remember my niece and nephews first steps as we all lived together and they ARE special. As first snows etc.. Loved this video. What a sweet little man he is!

    I watched it several times. He loved the armature (sp).
    He took a good look but I think he was heading for the red wheelbarrow? He doesn't waste time!

    Oh, Diana. I remember so well. That is the cutest time. What a little doll. He did so well for the first time on grass. When we used to visit when Jake was first walking, he always wanted to help us bring our stuff into the house, We let him carry a pillow, and all the way down the hall, we heard, "Oh, this is so hebby, this is so hebby..Happy Monday..Judy

    Why are they not squealing their heads off as he is walking?? Or are they holding their breath afraid he will fall? LOL Precious, and they are sooooo lucky to capture that on video. How wonderful!

    Wow, that was a very good first attempt at walking on the grass!!! gosh, time flies diana!!! He was just a little newborn!! I wish we were able to take so many videos when my babies were little!
