Roses And Tansy And Mallow Oh My!

Look what I discovered
along the fence line!
If you remember a couple of months ago
it looked like THIS-
A little later it looked like this~
.
So-God smiled down and this is what happened~
A little ray of sunshine to make me smile.
Next to it is Tansy.
White as it blooms and yellow as it matures,
Kinda like my hair only in the reverse!
Mellow Mallow
Speaking of MALLOW
Remember the Mallow Man?

I like him so much I found a T-Shirt with him on it..
I was thinking of wearing
it around.

Just kidding!
Imagine ME in THAT shirt-
Marshmallow woman?
Ummmm-No!
That would make some eyes roll!;>)

Have a happy, sappy day.
I'll be around late today...
We are moving and shaking
as we pack up Ruthie's house!
She has called me several names
under her breath but I pretend
not to hear her because I know
She loves me.
Tomorrow I will show you
some progress in the packing.

ps....This is what 98 degrees
looks like over the bay.
Can you see the haze across
the way?
It is HOT, baby....HOT!
Kinda like MyHero was 40 years ago.
Shhhh-he still thinks he is pretty hot stuff.

  1. Gorgeous yellow bloom. Stay cool. I understand the weather is going to break today. Storms are rolling across the great lakes later. It's windy this morning. We haven't had any wind this week.

  4. Beautiful rose, Diana! I'm so glad it came back for you. My view of that bay would be me in the bay with this heat! : ) In the 90's all week with a "feel like" temp of 100. I can't stand it! It is supposed to break Saturday with rain and thunderstorms so Sunday should be nice.

  6. Try to enjoy the heat Diana. We've had so much rain and now are starting to get storms and we've lost the power 2 times in the last 2 days. Beautiful roses!

  9. Oh go ahead and wear that shirt, I dare you!
I promise all you'll get is lots of comments on it, nothing about looking like a marshmellow. Well, except from me.

  20. You always have me laughing! What a fantastic view! Even in the sweltering heat, it is beautiful. Love you pretty yellow flowers. I have never had yellow roses before. They sure are pretty. My roses never bloom in the summer for some reason. They do best in early Spring and then fizzle out. Maybe it gets too hot for them. Not sure. Have fun finishing up with Ruthie's place. I know she is very lucky to have your help!

Never saw the mallow man but I feel like he looks when it gets so HOT here and you swell up from the heat. LOL
Got to just be in the pool. Even the gorgeous pic of your bay looks HOT.
Have fun helping Ruthie and take some heat breaks!

  39. HOw beautiful! My dad did a bouquet of 48 yellow roses at my mama's memorial...one for every year of their marriage, and one red rose in the middle....her maiden name was 'Rose', and he always called her that. :)

And I'm happy to know you will NOT be adorning yourself with the marshmallow man shirt!
