Sadly, that is NOT what Spring looks
like in Wisconsin.
Now...You DO remember that
we live by the bay?
Well....here is what we are seeing today.
That is snow along the rocks and on the sand.
Are you feeling cold yet?
Cold on land and cold in the air-
Sigh....
Well, while I am dreaming of someplace like this...
I want to give you a quick update.
on my friend, Gert.
You can read the original prayer request(here)
Here are some of her own words from the
rehab center:
Today, they had me walking and I was so impressed with
how good I did, compared to how far I walked (and how I
walked) when I was in the hospital, then I remembered all those
thoughts and PRAYERS everyone from Diana's blog have
been sending me. I want to THANK every one for
your love and concern!
You see, prayers really do make a difference.
And...
One more quick little request.
If you have a moment-pop by and vote for
my grandson- Big Boy E again
in the contest.
He is moving up the ladder!!!
He was in the 300's and is now in the mid 100's.
Just think- He could be your future
grandson-in-law!
THEN WE would be RELATED!
What do you mean you're not
going to vote now?
Pfffffffft!
I do have a darling little granddaughter we could match him up with! Ok.. running to vote again! so glad youre friend is doing well.
ReplyDeletecold here too...
xoxo

So glad your friend is doing well and the prayers for her are working!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a cutie your grandson is!!!
Well, our spring is looking like yours, cold & snow again yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI am from Holland Mi. where the many, many tulips bloom brightly, just not yet.
I voted for Baby E again... may we do it more than once??
Diana, Some times I think we are related.Funny huh?Big boy E is a beauty, I voted. Are we allowed to vote more than once? I have Gert in my prayers...she is a sweet lady.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteoh I'm so glad she's doing well, that boys a winner for sure,
ReplyDeleteHe could be my future grandson in law, but I don't think you want him moving way down here, and I definitely don't want my girls moving way up there and we're already sisters in Christ so that's just going to have to be good enough for now. LOL And - you just reminded me of one of the positives of my ki8ds moving to Texas. They're not in a military town so maybe those girls won't marry anyone who is going to haul them all the way across the country and around the world. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are having cooler weather here now, though we do have lots of springtime flowers.
ReplyDeleteYes, I continue to offer prayers for Gert.
I'll be sure to vote for that precious grandson of yours. Will they permit me to vote twice?
xo Nellie
What a cutie! On my way to vote.
ReplyDeleteSending more prayers for your dear friend. She looks so sweet!
It's been colder than normal here too, Diana. At least 20 degrees, brr! I am so ready to be on that tropical beach! So glad to hear that your friend Gert is progressing. I already voted for your little cutie patootie! Maybe in about 20 years I can introduce my little great niece to him??!! Then you and I can really be related!
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming is on hold here as well!
ReplyDeletePrayers and votes for Mr. E!
~withLove
It's cold almost everywhere it seems...spring is having a hissy fit.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that your friend is improving, and yes prayers do help.
Jen
My beautiful daughter is far too old for him, and I have no grandchildren yet. But that won't stop me from voting!
ReplyDeleteSending prayers to your friend! I hope she continues to recover.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie pie he is!!!
I can't write anything here, because I have to go vote.

ReplyDeleteVoted for that cute little thing; he's just darling!
Nancy
No snow here. The sun is shining but it is cold and windy. I have cast my vote again!
ReplyDeleteI've got to be honest, i'm more inclined to like the cold and wet days than the hot and dry. I can't be out in the sun long so I long for short sunny days most times. I love the sky photo you took.. something very hmmmm.... almost secretive... like the sky has a thing to say about the night. Very pretty. That kid, oh my gosh... he's cute. Cuddle him quick. Hugs. Tammy
ReplyDeleteLove that tropical picture...that's definitely where I want to be! I'm going to pop over tho Gert's, you little angel! And off to vote for that cutie again! I wish him lots of luck!

Jane

ReplyDeleteWell dear, I live in MINNEAPOLIS just "next door" to ya, and we are getting MORE SNOW TONIGHT or tomorrow, I believe. Can YOU believe that? And if we get it, chances are you may see some flurries too. Let's bring on the flowers already!

Such a darling photo Diana:) glad to hear your friend is walking. Prayer trees work! Your spring looks cold:(. Ours is green but wet, muddy, and the skies are grey. Temps are still in the thirties in the morning. Forecast is looking brighter.. 60's!

Warning...I think spring is skipping us this year in Wisconsin! I saw snow flakes again today. Hey at least we saw blue skies yesterday! Spring tried to come in. lol. I am so glad that your friend is doing better. Prayers will continue for her recovery.
ReplyDeleteThe weather here today was absolutely beautiful. It was about 72, with blue sky, cotton clouds, and warm sun.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I voted for that little rascal :)
It amazes me how wildly different the weather is across the country right now - and not in a good way.
ReplyDeleteI will keep your friend Gert in my prayers and now I am heading over to vote for your little grandson. He would be much too old for my granddaughter because she doesn't even exist yet- not even a twinkle in the eye.
Oh Diana, I so hope you see spring soon. So thrilled to read such good news from Gert. She has an amazing smile. I voted for your darling cutie pie. He is going to break hearts one day.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
XO

It is cold here, too, snow in the foothills, but getting warmer. So glad to hear good news about your friend, I will continue to pray for her. Sweet, sweet boy, I voted and hope he wins. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to type, but after seeing your photos I am huddled under the covers trying to warm up and the only thing showing is my nose. Glad to hear your friend is doing well, Diana and will vote again. xo Laura

Your grandson is adorable, Diana. Prayers being sent to your friend - so glad to hear they are working.
