did you think I had

Nah....on with the story~
SweetCheeks has nothing
on MyHero.
ON ICE
did you think I had
done the old boy in?
Nah....on with the story~
SweetCheeks has nothing
She might have been the
Face of Broadway (here) for the
Holiday Season
but MyHero and
SweetCheeks' sister,Lulu,
are the face of the local
downtown skating rink.
MyHero is a good skater
so he got a late day call to
see if he would come downtown
and bring one of girls
for a night time photo shoot
for the Broadway district.
Here he is skating with Lulu.
Pretty cute, huh?
While they are going round and round,
I am sitting inside the cafe that
faces the rink drinking a hot coffee.
Looking out
I see this....
And they pause by the window
so I can snap a picture of the two of them.
Not such a great shot through the window..
but there they are.
Hmmmmm...
What do you think
SweetCheeks is gonna think
when she finds out her
sister has replaced her?
This look kind of comes to mind!
Gotta love a face like that!
ahhh... that face!! :) the skating pics are precious as will be those memories for them both!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time on ice ! That last pic is priceless ! Have a wonderful Sunday
ReplyDeleteYou two are just great grandparents! The girls are very lucky to have you and yes! You are going to get a little sour face when she finds out. LOL Have a great Sunday, Diana!
ReplyDeleteSweet!
ReplyDeleteSeconds on what Maria Elena said - you are incredible grandparents - what beautiful memories those munchkins will have forever!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely precious.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww....I love those moments when the kids get to spend time with Dad or Grandpa!
ReplyDeleteThat Sweet Cheeks has the look, doesn't she? I guess I must have done that a lot as a child because Daddy always said "I hope your face don't freeze like that!" lol
Have a great, cold, dreary, snowy, rainy Sunday! I'm not bitter...
Yeah, that is probably what she is thinking, or maybe Ice Cream.
ReplyDeleteOh my, what fun! And what a great photo shoot...(for your photo shoot!...smile!!) love the photo of sweet cheeks!!

Gert
Oh.. Priceless. Those are great shots. Are those the ones used in the promo???
ReplyDeleteAnd no one can pout like Sweetcheeks... : )
what a beautiful time for them to share, thats a beautiful spot to skate as well, poor sweet cheeks,
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I thought he joined Ice Capades, Diana! : ) I used to love to ice skate when I was a kid and through my teen years. I can't even imagine how I would do at this point. I may get to find out though because they are building a new outdoor mall about 5 minutes from us and they are including . . . an ice skating rink!
ReplyDeletePout. Pout. What a face. Happy Sunday! xo
ReplyDeleteHe is a hero! I'm happy for Lulu that she got to be in the spotlight, and I am guessing you will make it all up to Sweet Cheeks before the day is over.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Diana, LuLu and her grandpa skating makes a beautiful memory. Yes, sweetcheeks will probably have that face, but you have to love her. I can remember trying to explain to little ones that they have to share at young age, but when you are the youngest you don't see it that way. We are to have rain again this morning, with snow later. Have a wonderful Sunday. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteHow great that your husband loves to skate--I am sure Lulu feels pretty special. Your city has a nice outdoor rink...outdoor rinks seem to be disappearing.
ReplyDeleteCreating more lovely memories - love it! Sorry SweetCheeks!
ReplyDeletePrecious photos!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's Lulu who steals the show with that pretty red coat. Perfect for ice skating photos!
ReplyDeleteYour Hero and Lulu are just to sweet. I love those pictures. I'd be sitting right next to you though! Great spot to watch the magic. Poor little SweetCheeks!!
