They say a picture says a
Thousand Words.
Step by step
I will show you how
NAUGHTY happens.
I sit with the kids at
STARBUCKS
(imagine that)
while Mom runs an errand.
We get a
Strawberry Smoothie
to share.
SweetCheeks!
(Who is starting to pull her
straw out of her glass)
Leave your straw IN your glass!!!
Whut, Nana?
I repeat...Don't pull your
straw out of your drink.
I'hm NOTT!
Well, it looks to ME like you are
doing that.
I'hm NOTT- I promise!
Okay- so what happens when you
sit for an hour and drink coffee?
Yep- Potty break.
I come back from the bathroom.
SweetCheeks!
Did you take your straw out of
your drink?!?
NOH! I din't!
Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!
Oh geesh, but isn't she just the cutest? Gotta love Starbucks for great 'naughty' treats as this is why I can't drop 5 pounds, even though I order the skinny skinny.

Looks like fun was had even for a short while.
warm hugs
Cotton Peony
HAHAHAHA You got to love her! Boy, you are going to have some stories to tell her when she grows up! LOL How was her first day of school?
ReplyDeleteDon't you love that, right in front of you...but they are not!~
ReplyDeleteToo funny! When my kiddo's were little this trick would have earned them a little time out, now that I am a grand tricks like this keep me laughing all day!!
ReplyDeleteDiana, Funny.:):) Sweetcheeks needed to see herself in the mirror. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteAnd you didn't even need eyes in the back of your head to figure that one out! *lol* But, what I really wonder is why kids do that? The straws come out of the cups here, too!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great that you will have all these pictures to show her when she grows up. I love how they deny things when they are sitting there with the evidence right on their face. And what a cute face it is :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha. Sweet Cheeks you aren't going to foil your Nana. We have been there before. That drink looks pretty yummy. That's along time to sit at Starbucks. We have a Starbucks in our Barnes and Noble......do you. That might be easier. When do the girls start school.
ReplyDeleteThat girl.... Keeps you on your toes, & keeps you laughing.. :)
ReplyDelete(And she has a great new hair cut..)
Ha, ha. Of course she didn't.
ReplyDeleteFunny, funny! I believe I'd be interested in that strawberry treat!:)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Tuesday, Diana!
xo Nellie
You are not supposed to pull the straw out of the cup? I didn't know that, lol.
ReplyDeleteHer new do is very similar to Princess Skylar's new do.
Now girlfriend we both know that if you tell a child not to do something, that is what they will do. I think sweet cheeks looks so cute with the telltale signs of the straw that you couldn't possibly have done anything but laugh. Love your alphabet posts.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day my friend.
Noreen

ReplyDeleteNaughty Nana, I am on Sweet Cheeks side of this. In fact, I think I saw that straw whapping her while you were at the potty.
HEY Sweet Cheeks!! I covered for ya!
