Warning-Picture Overload!
Well, They Did It Now!
They induced labor at about
11am and labor started
progressing pretty quickly.
There was a problem though
so they rushed into an emergency
C-Section.
We were all on pins and needles for
an hour until my son-in-law
could rush out to tell
us that we had a new
BABY BOY in the family.
Let me tell you,
Our newest famlly member is a bruiser.
I'm kind of glad it's not a girl.
Can you imagine going to
school when they have you
tell all about yourself as
a baby?
Hi..My name is Cindasissie and
I weighed 10# 3oz when I was born!
HUH? WHAT?
Well, our not-so-little guy
is going to be nicknamed by me.
I am going to call him
Charles-In-Charge.
(Wasn't that an old 80's TV show)?
Enough blabbing..
Here is BabyE meeting
Chunky Charlie for the first time.
He decided he like him well enough
to give him a
Welcome-To-My-Family kiss.
My son-in-law's parents drove all
the way from
Kansas City, MO
for the event.
Here's Gramma holding
The Bruiser.
And Grammpa taking his turn.
Maybe he can wear your hat, Gramps,
cuz none of those cute little
newborn hats are gonna fit him.
My daughter looks tired, but happy,
doesn't she?
Auntie TPot was there for
every bit of the excitment.
And Uncle MamasBoy came after
work with his wife.
(Umm...that is NOT his wife-that is the baby)
Papa showed up late because he was
working all day and had to
drive 100 miles after work.
Hmmm..His hair looks a bit like Papas
if you look at the side hair line.
At the end of the day we took one
last picture of the new little family
and headed home to put
BabyE to bed.
It was a good day.
A long day.
A kinda scary day.
But, in the end,
A Blessed Day!
I will post the contest
winner tomorrow..
after I have a chance to
review the guesses!
I am off-
To STARBUCKS
and the hospital!
Thank you ALL so much for
all your wonderful wishes!
I love you guys!
Girls...whatever~

ReplyDeleteHe is so cute! my older boy was almost 10lbs, and I did NOT have A C-section. Funny thing is he was the smallest baby on the ward that day LOL. Congrats to you all Diana! XO
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a keeper to me. I wish you were closer so I could take his pictures! But since you're not, do find a good baby photographer and over do it just a little bit more. He's too precious not to get tons of pictures of.
ReplyDeleteOooooh he is so cute!! Enjoy that special blessing!!

ReplyDeleteYour daughter deserves a medal for carrying that big boy to term.
She looks amazing having gone through a C- section!!
So nice that the family came from "hence & yonder" to
meet the new baby. Again, Congratulations!
Oh, I love Chunky Charlie and isn't Baby E so good with a baby brother?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad it all ended up fine. I know you went through the worst few hours of your life up there, waiting for someone to come out with the news.
You know the meeting I am waiting for- just have your camera ready. Especially if he pees in her face the first time.
Bruise or not, he's a real cutie! Our last grandchild (a girl) was almost 10 lbs. at birth & was such a chunck. But now she is just very dainty and petite -- go figure! Anyway, congratulations on your very special early Christmas present.

What a special little pumpkin so cute! Don't spoil him to bad. Cong. Vicky
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute! He is so round and chunky and you just want to hug squeeze. My little petite daughter weighed in at 8lb 10oz. at birth and was chunky like that. Even the same dark hair. She turned out to be very petite and wears a size 2. Enjoy that little bundle of goodness!
ReplyDeleteOh Diana, I am so happy for you and your daughter and the whole family! What an exciting time for your family....a brand new BIG baby boy! Give him lots of gramma hugs and kisses for me! So glad everything turned out alright and your daughter is doing well after delivering such a big guy. So very sweet. What a beautiful Christmas it will be for you and yours.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Mary
I'm so excited for you!!!! He is beautiful. And your daughter looks beautiful too...and she just had a baby! Big baby! My youngest, Jeremiah Samuel, was 10lbs 9oz! He was almost 3 wks late...I begged the Dr. not to induce labor but the morning he scheduled it I went into labor and had him in 3 hrs naturally. I'm afraid of hospitals and medicines. We called him Bubba till he was about 8 yrs old. Having a big baby is easier to care for...they don't feel so fragile. You have so much to be thankful for...I know your Thanksgiving will be wonderful. ox
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Diana!!! This is wonderful news and what a gorgeous baby!!! I am so thrilled for you and your whole family!
ReplyDeleteLove,
