I have a
REALLY BUSY DAY
lined up.
REALLY BUSY!
I will share it with you later
this week.
However...
For those of you that have
been following along and
praying for Ralph
and Cindy..
I have a short update.
You can read the original post
Ralph came through the surgery fine.
It appears that it went well.
However, he has a long,
long road ahead of him.
Rehabilitation and recovery
will take a long time.
It is a daunting task for the
most able bodied...and he already
went through a similar experience
a few years back
so...
He knows what he is facing.
Please pray for him to not
only recover physically but to
keep faith...to keep heart...
to not get discouraged...
to not feel that he
"less" than he was.
Keep Cindy close to heart, too,
because we all know that it
is the spouses that suffer
right along with the
recoverer...
and that she stays strong...
And that she doesn't bean him
with a rolling pin if he gets
too grumpy.
(Hey you didn't think this
whole post was gonna be
serious, did you?;>)
And, if he wants a little company
I have a "scolder" here that
I would be glad to send
down for a visit....
just sayin.....
How close is the bus stop to your house?
so glad to hear things went well, continued good news for them I pray!
ReplyDeleteSure will Diana, thanks for putting this out there. Have a wonderful Sunday!
ReplyDeleteSo far, so good! we will keep them covered with prayer.
ReplyDeleteI read your post about the desk and chair...they turned out so cute!
Have a happy Sunday my sweet friend.
That is such good news! Thanks for keeping us posted! Will continue to keep them in my prayers, because we know it's going to be a long, hard road back to being able to use that arm again! Cindy might want to use something softer than a rolling pin...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day! Our busy day was yesterday...today, just hanging around with Steve back to work early this morning.
Thanks for the update. His recover will be hard on Cindy. I will continue the prayers.
ReplyDeleteNo bus stop here, hah.
Glad to hear things went well! and hoping someone takes the rolling pin out of the kitchen before someone gets hurt :-)
ReplyDeleteNo buses around here unless you're headed to the elementary school.
Good news overall and thankfully he is able to start his recovery now. Thank you for the updates, will keep them both in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting an update, Diana! You are sweet! Keeping them both in my prayers. Cindy could always douse him in Heirloom White spray paint and glitter if he gets out of hand:)
ReplyDeleteGood news! I know the recovery period will be a challenge for both ~ will hold them in prayer. You're such a good friend to do this ~ there is such power in collective prayer.

Hi Diana,
ReplyDeleteWow, such progress here and I just KNOW that prayers must be working!! Ralph doesn't need pain pills, which is amazing..and he's been really good! I'm exhausted, but surviving...and the great news is that he was able to eat on his own tonight--this is such a miracle...I am so grateful, indeed. THANK YOU for everything, my friend.
Love,
Cindy
