with Nana and Papa.
We asked her what
she had learned
about Easter
at church
this morning...
I do think she
might have mixed
a little bit of
Gulliver's Travels
into the the
Jesus story!;>)
She almost started
crying when she
thought Jesus might
have felt pain.
Here it is-
Listen up and see what
YOU think!
beautiful, she's really something special she is.Getting quite upset wasn't she, I think your husband sounded concerned she was becoming so upset, very emotional video, wow.
ReplyDeleteI like the way she is so earnest when she speaks. Her little face when she thinks of Jesus in pain made me feel quite tearful myself.
ReplyDeleteOh Diane, your little Sweet Cheeks said it all............God Bless her , tears came when I saw her little face when she thought Jesus was in pain. She just could not bear the thought.
ReplyDeleteDiana, The little film would not come thru for me. But I know how sweetcheeks sounds...so I am imagining her telling the Easter story, as only she can. Hope you get lots of g.kid hugs today.I am heading out soon to get those kinds of hugs. Smiles, xo, Susie

Awwww..... don't you just love it that she is so empathetic and caring! She seems angry at those mean people who hurt Jesus. Sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteOh, I remember this. How smart your hubby was to go along with her thinking it didn't hurt when it upset her so. She has time to learn different later on when she can handle it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! I hope everyone takes time to watch this.
This is precious! I love that she didn't want Jesus hurt! I think it's difficult for all of us to imagine the pain He felt! Through the eyes of a child, a sweet reminder of His love and sacrifice for us! Happy Blessed Easter to you and your family too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a precious one with a tender heart! Happy Easter to you all!

What a sweet video! She's a very special little girl! Happy Easter to you and your family!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteAwe, she is such prize.
ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet. She got quite upset, but sadly, Jesus did suffer on the cross. Her face told us she didn't want Him to suffer.....Bless her and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI do think she has some Gulliver's travels mixed in there. I love watching the expression on her face as she tries to sort this complex story out in her mind! I'm a lot older than her and I still have trouble with the suffering part. ~ Maureen

Hi Diana: Thank you for finding me. Now I've found you also. I love your blog and your story telling. Sweet Cheeks is just the cutest. How old is she? Yes, I think she might have gotten Gulliver mixed up in there somewhere, but it's all good. I'm going to go over to your other blog and see more of her. I'm a fan..Happy Easter with SC and the rest of your family..Judy

Oh my goodness ! How sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how much children know.
But I believe that we lived in Heaven before we came here and this may explain how children just KNOW Him. They are young enough to still remember. :)
Hope you have had a great Easter Sunday. Take care, Janet W
Oh, your video made me want to cry. So adorable, and I loved it when she said that Jesus was strong so it didn't hurt. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteEleven grand children, wow, you are truly blessed. I had my first daughter, when I was 39 and my second when I was 42, so I thought I wouldn't see grandchildren this soon. I am thrilled.
Looks like you had a beautiful Easter.
Have a lovely evening.
Karen

One of the best blessings of all is watching and listening to a child that is aware the "He lives" in his/or her heart!
