I scrambled around to see what the heck had happened and found my 2 year old and my golden retriever watching t.v. contentedly. In shock and horror I screamed, what happened? My daughter looked calmly at me and said, Dylan (3 year old brother) gived us a haircut mommy. Yep, you guessed it, right at the roots in the middle of her head. And the retriever? Apparently he never turned her over and she was laying on her side so only one side got a new haircut. It was very special."Cottage By The Sea"https://www.blogger.com/profile/04016670928484219905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-49020232106188462532010-11-11T20:09:09.182-06:002010-11-11T20:09:09.182-06:00Both stories are a hoot! It's a family tradition!!
Yes, the obligatory self-inflicted hair cut.
I remember it well from when my kids were little.
And one of my grandkids.
Oh! And I mustn't forget my teenage son, when he was in Jr. High.
He couldn't get some hair on the top of his head to lay down - even with water. So he did what any normal person would (NOT!) he cut it off at the root!!
When that hunk of hair grew back, he looked like Alfalfa!!
Who raised that child?!! Or, at least most kids. There are a select few who decide it is more fun to cut a siblings hair. Or - if they don't get it out of their system before they go to school, they cut a classmates hair. It must be an unspoken right of passage or something, because it happens so frequently.Patty Pattersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02963555227831970190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-65996285945852683922010-11-10T08:00:29.162-06:002010-11-10T08:00:29.162-06:00Oh, that is just too funny about the snowflake!
