So pretty to look at. But now if he starts getting in my little garden then that brings on more talk as my granny would have said. LOL! Florida has begun phase one with reopening some things and of course with stipulations. We shall see how that goes. Stay safe and sane lady. We were criticized for "breeding like rabbits" because we had nine children and it wasn't meant in a kindly way. I don't get why people think they can have a view on the number of children a person has, like we have to answer to them. Many people choose to have no children - and It's their business. I wouldn't dream of telling them they are being selfish not having a family.
Whoops, sorry about the rant, but your post brought back some memories.
grams ramblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15627561019772248870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-11691455843188845422020-05-04T08:04:52.135-05:002020-05-04T08:04:52.135-05:00Well I didn't know that . . . lol. Where have I be...I've never heard that saying! Where have I been. I do have a short rabbit story. When I was a little girl, we had Sunday dinner after church quite often at my Aunts. She kept cages of beautiful white rabbits. I love looking at them and putting my fingers through the cage to feel their soft fur....fast forward my Aunt Nevada's fried chicken was the best, rather sweet. I ask my mom why the chicken legs were so small....Yikes...I had no idea they were raised for food. It killed my little heart...Don't think I ever fully recovered. Do people still eat rabbit...the tame ones...???Wandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06941735389982354519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-73031940387684760282020-05-03T15:08:32.631-05:002020-05-03T15:08:32.631-05:00I've never heard that expression in my life, l...I've never heard that expression in my life, let alone chanting it on the first day of the month! Our state's starting to reopen, and even though we had a relatively low infection rate, it'll still be scary trying to test the new norm. Hey, put instructuons on those ckicklists like I do - "pick freshest date (milk, bread)", "choose green to yellow, no brown (bananas)", choose firm (fresh veggies)", etc. And definitely don't let them substitute anything you don't want them to. This has been a real job, just getting groceries in!Rita C at Panoplyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17351306074493103021noreply@blogger.com
