Sadly, I guess, I never did most of them except the chalk paint and still think that is around. After the first initial sightings, I guess I have just gone back into my 'grandma' mode. That is much easier and I don't miss anything I didn't do. To each his own..I am so anxious to see what you are doing to the new place. You will most likely be setting new trends!..Stay well and take care, my friend..xxoJudyJudy at GoldCountryCottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282585980012016892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-81822412140210572252020-04-26T18:57:16.507-05:002020-04-26T18:57:16.507-05:00Well there are a lot of crafty things that I did o...Well there are a lot of crafty things that I did or was given over the years that now I wonder what I was thinking. Remember the pictures made with old jewelry?I was once given two huge jars of pickled peppers as a room ornament and couldn't get rid of them for decades because the giver would have noticed and asked about them!Asfor books with the covers ripped off and used for a craft, I have a good friend who gave me what she called the perfect book to use for a certain craft. But it was about Thomas Becket (as in St. Thomas of Canterbury fame) and she expected me to rip that book apart??? Needless to say...

Anyway, I'll be glad when the donation centers are opened once again so we can part with the many things that are just piling up because, as you mentioned, none of our kids want this stuff.Cranberry Morninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10758563068581561194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-43041959576602330482020-04-26T08:25:42.054-05:002020-04-26T08:25:42.054-05:00Another dinosaur here. I did not get into any of that. As for unpacking and purging, prob came into play with not having anywhere to donate stuff. However I did find out a week ago that even though Goodwill is closed they are still taking donations. I was going to haul somethings today cause I have boxes on boxes but...its pouring down raining so its waited this long, guess a bit longer will not matter. As for the virus, you read my post and me being the only one to run errands, I am the one in charge!! haha. Lowe's being a must cause I am getting a house updated for sale. You can usually buy the things people used to make, at all the HOME stores, or online. Especially the trendy home décor. I've had the things you mentioned infused into my décor over the years, but I sold lots of it when I had a booth, or it just ended up in a box in the garage. I still have pieces like, empty vintage frames, vintage bottles, and tons of doilies, table clothes, and other linens that I use in decorating and making sachets. We all like what we like, and that's okay. As long as our home doesn't fit a mold, and looks just like everyone else's. I love seeing a home that reflects a person's personality, and uniqueness(is that a word?).
Great post, Diana!!
Love you.
xoDebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16600235934416288679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1343462107745336677.post-56379472400098304742020-04-24T12:32:52.480-05:002020-04-24T12:32:52.480-05:00I do like chalk painted items. They say they love it though, so guess that is good. In fact, many say if I want to sell any stuff when I move to let them have a chance first!! I have a collection of beaded purses I am going to let go of. I may let go of some of my unique tea cups as well. Got time to decide. My ideas change when planning to move in with my life partner, Randy, when he and I are able to buy a home together.
