FRIDAY THIS AND THAT---FIRST DAY OF SPRING...WHOA......

Just when you think it is going to warm up

and feel like Spring you get something

that looks like this!

At least we got plowed out---

After two days!

Thank Goodness!
Now THAT is a
PILE OF SNOW.

It is COLD COLD COLD
 as I type this-

Pop over for a cup of coffee
later today-
I'm clearing a path to the front door
for you right now......

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!
It will be better soon...
I promise!

  1. I just checked that it wasn't April 1st! 😯 Have never experienced snow like that. I'd love to, just once, but maybe not to live with it, and maybe not this late in the season. It has been known to snow here on my birthday (end March) - enough for a snowman but that's all! Keep warm Nana Diana, and know that there are bulbs hiding under there somewhere! Keep the faith. 🌷 🌷 🌷

  2. We got snow here on March 16th but nothing like that. Ours was just enough to cover the ground and no plowing or shoveling required. Spring has to be just around the corner.

  8. Oh my word! And here, I'm just about to turn on our air conditioning, complaining about the overly-warm forecast.

  10. OH my Word!!! never seen that much snow. the most snow when we lived in KY was about 4 or 5 inches. I have seen this on tv and in movies. this reminds me of the movie, The Day After Tomorrow, boy was that a scary movie.

  19. I was just scrolling through my reading list. I get very few blogs in my mail anymore so I’m very bad at responding. You had a whole bunch of snow! This last month has had its ups and downs as far as temperatures and precipitation. It’s been very crazy. Our daffodils are up, but we’re gonna have another freezing spell after this warming spell… It kind of changes every three days. I hope all is well with you. I will have to try to do better with my blogs. I have gotten way behind. Have a good weekend. Hugs.

  20. What a time you've had this WINTER!!! We're a bit lower on the snowline, so ours came in great gusts some, and then other days with just little nips and dips---just enough for a pang to the valiant tulips, raising their valiant green blades to seek the sun, and finding a heavy, freezy blanket.

And now it's predicted 79 today!! Wonders never cease. From dire to direct sun---Happy Spring Is Here!!
