PICK YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY/CHRISTMAS TABLE SETTING

Bobbie Cottleston Pie
barely let me lick the whipped cream off my lips
from my last piece of pumpkin pie
before she wondered-
WHEN ARE YOU DOING A CHRISTMAS
PICK YOUR TABLE POST?
Huh- Do I look like I have hours to spend just searching
and looking at all these picture perfect tables?
Huh?  Well, I do! (ha-I am such a liar).
You KNOW I love ya, Bobbie, and I only tease
those I love!

Anyway,
I'll let YOU look and pick your favorite.

Ready?

Well, I don't know HOW you all
are gonna pick just one..
BUT--THAT IS the rule!
You do remember that, don't you?  lol
Some of you have a really hard time picking
JUST ONE(you brats)!

So, pick a table
and we will fill it with all your best friends.
I hope there's a place for me there, too!

Well----don't just sit there---
VOTE!

For those that give a hoot,
I will be in Chicago with my
two daughters and 4 grandgirls for the weekend
and spending an evening at another blogger's home.
More about that later-if I survive!
Have a great weekend!!!!

#1, love the green.

#7, I plead for plaid. The traditional Christmas colors of green and red are my favorite.

Of course Whisper of White is my fave but I do worry the small fuzzy things might get in my food (or even worse, my wine!) Love these contests!!!

I am heading to Table #7, Plead for Plaid because I love traditional things the most. However, I can be happy at any one of these tables because they are GORGEOUS. I will say that all-white, lovely as it is, makes me nervous because my family always has BBQ beef brisket on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, so if anybody spills on all that white, ohhhhhhh......

7 for me. Love the plaid!

Sandi said...

OH! I love these things!

I am going to go with #2 Rustic Modern. Love those walls!!!

Gert said...

#7 (my favorite number and favorite table!!) I love the plaids. Can’t wait to see who will be sitting with me!!!

Kim said...

I pick #2...rustic modern. Not so much for the table, but that room! I love the walls, how charming. Have fun this weekend...and give your hostess a big hug from me! xoxoxo

#1 Had me at the gorgeous bow napkin rings. And, have fun...assuming you are staying with sweet Kris.

#2 Rustic Modern -- I love the contrasting elements of old and new! Have fun in Chicago!

Jettie said...

#1 and I know that isn't the one you had my name on, but that is ok. It just caught my attention and wouldn't let go.

Stephanie said...

Oh, you and your "silly" rules! {{smiles}} I am torn between #2 and #8. Love the pure white of 8, but I also love the modern look with the wood, purple, and gold. Oh, Diana...I shouldn't be agonizing over such a decision - HA! Let's go with......hmmm......ummm.....#2. Thanks for the fun, my friend! Hugs!

Okay, me 'n my girl pick #7. However this country boy would be skeered to sit down there, I'd turn a glass over with my elbow. BUT for beauty they are gorgeous. I cannot even imagine arranging any of those. I ain't picking the Rustic, but I like it. LOL
Beautiful settings.

Ooohhh...Oooohhhh...ohhhh! I'll plead for PLAID! #7 Oh how I love big bold RED plaids! Perfect! I'm sure will have a hearty meal for our outdoorsy table! Maybe some venison...or moose? heeeheee! Enjoy your day! Thanks for the fun. Holiday hugs, Diane

LOL!!! Thanks for my first big laugh of the day, Diana!
I love you, too!
While the Scotswoman in me leans toward the plaid, I'm going to have to go with the rustic modern #2 ~ Love the walls and the table. But I'm going to bring my own napkin, because mustard yellow just ain't my thang!
And where is my champagne?!?!
Thanks so much for hosting ~
Hugs ~

I have to do the rustic....not in love with the modern chairs...but the walls and table are so scrumptious! So, I sit there and admire the walls...and floor and the table....

Diana, I am home long enough to go see the chiropractor. Back's out and the chair/cot (torture chamber at the hospital )has not helped me. Thank you and all the wonderful people in blogland for the prayers and sweet words for Teddy and I. We are blessed.
I really like the number one setting..not the quirky chairs so much though.
When you said in your post(ha-I am such a lair) LOL, I thought, " dunk her twice !!" See you should never have told me that story. :):)
I think I know where you are going....please tell all hello for me and hug the grandgirls. I love you, you are a great friend. Thanks for asking for prayers, Blessings and wishes for all, xoxo, Susie

They are all very pretty, but I think I will have a blue Christmas with Elvis and go with No.4

Jeanie said...

I'm not wild about most of them but I think I'll go with 7. I love the table and walls in number 2 (the table, not the chairs, not the setting) but for setting, the rich plaid is working for me!

#6 green and gold for me because you will only let me choose one and it wasn't an easy choice :) 🎄 🌟

#7 I plead for plaid!

Please sit me at table #7. It reminds me of the way my mom decorates the table for Christmas. Have a fun time this weekend. ;)

Hi Diana, they are all lovely, but you had me at #7, the plaid is gorgeous.
Have fun with your loved ones.

They are all gorgeous, but if I had to choose it would be #1 or #4. The green is absolutely gorgeous and the blue is so calming.

#6, Green & Gold.
Go Packers! (See, I cheer for them just for you!)

#6... I think those are angel plates. I wouldn't use gold tablecloth but love the woodsy look.

Gayla said...

Now I still pick #6. But I don't think those are angel plates... lol

Oh I love that you did this, Diana! Plaid, please!! (I think I"m having a 1970's, Uncle Dave and Aunt Pauline Christmas flashback!) (the gold would be a close second, but yeah, I know, only vote for one). -Jenn

Missy George said...

#1 and #6.... Number one is 1st, number six is just in case you run out of room at number one. When asked to be prepared for all eventualities. Thanks for hosting. I hope you will be at my table. Do you ever pick a table? Or do you just roam around and make wise cracks??? You have all the fun. Enjoy your weekend.!xxoo

happyone said...

I'm going with number 7.
Almost chose 8 just because it was so different from what I would ever have but it is so pretty.

Debby Ray said...

They are all so beautiful but I am a sucker for tartan plaid! Lead me to table #7!

Donna said...

Plaid just says holidays! Seven it is! Enjoy your weekend and try to stay our of trouble...just kidding...

Adam said...

I saw the GB packers reference. It's a shame you didn't have a Cleveland Browns table, which is judging by the team track record, a broken orange plastic table in a landfill.

JennyD said...

Without a doubt, I Plead for Plaid! It just oozes the warmth of the Christmas Holiday and calls for great bourbon, or buttered rum, and for sure a gorgeous, juicy prime rib. Yep, PLAID! If you close your eyes, you can hear the fireplace crackling :D

Junkchiccottage said...

Hi Diana,
I know you would think I would pick and all white or the silver and white but nope I love #7 with the red plaid it is gorgeous. The centerpiece is so pretty. That says Christmas to me. Happy Weekend.
Hugs,
Kris

# 7 Plaid for me. The only time I like plaid is at Christmas time. Red Plaid. It is so Christmasy.

AnnMarie aka Vintage Junkie aka NaNa said...

I was this close to going for the plaid but I have to go with the green and gold #6. No reason :-)

Denise said...

#8! Last time I had to move around to three different tables but #8 is a clear winner - and if I spill my white wine it won't show

Terri D said...

I am #59!! That's what I get for being late getting to blogs today! I could easily pick three, but I'll go with #6 Green & Gold. Beautiful!!

Robyn said...

Well this is tough! I like the rustic but not the modern so I'm going to pick the white!

Lisa said...

Reserve me a seat at the Rustic #2 . Table 8 would cause me to sneeze all night and I have a feeling #6 is gonna be wild.

I'm going with number 2. It's so different and beautiful. Second is number 8. This is always a fun game.

number seven is for me!!

Rita C. said...

I cheated. I want #7 because plaid is my thang. I was going to choose #8 because I KNEW Kris would pick it, but she tricked me. So I'll go with my tried and true so I can sit with Kris!

Far Ago Farm said...

I'll gladly take a seat at #7! And I'm pretty sure I know who you'll be visiting this weekend - tell her I said hi! Jane

Karen Ann said...

# 7 because that's my favorite number and plaid says christmas, especially with all that holly - BUT.. if #6 green and gold weren't Number 6, I'da gone with that one for sure. It's complicated.

Terra said...

Plaid for me with its vibrant red and green. I am a Packer fan out here in California so that table is also a good choice for me.

Liz@ HomeandGardeningWithLiz said...

I’m torn between 7 and 8... I’m terribly traditional so I should go with 7 but wait I want to be different so I’m going with 8 (I think)! 😉

Petie said...

I'm picking the rustic modern table. Even though I would never use purple and gold for Christmas. I'm more of a pink and gold kinda girl. I really like the room and table and could see myself living there, lol...

and I always look forward to your post where I get to pick a decorated table.

Lorrie said...

#7 with the plaid looks like a festive spot. You can put me there!

Fran Caswell said...

#7 plaid for me please.

Lon Anderson said...

Sorry, I can't choose, I like them all!

Saimi said...

Silvery snowflake or traditional plaid for me!

Sandra said...

My favorite is #1. I love the green medley.

Dewena said...

Please put me at # 1 table! I have a thing for green, always. I might be tempted to walk off with my green water goblet when I leave though.

Cecilia said...

I have to go with 7 - not sure there's going to be room so if you have to, you can put me at the Silver Snowflakes table. But 7 just says Christmas to me - I love plaid and red and green! Never mind my tree is white and silver this year. 😜

Red Rose Alley said...

Well, although I love the red roses, it's a bit too much red for me, so I will choose number 7. It's pretty and festive, with a little green mixed in there, and I've always loved plaid. Fun, Fun, Diana.
