Back At Blogging- A Playhouse and A Poem!

Well, I made a promise to my friend,
that I would start blogging today or tomorrow.
I got an ultimatum from him.
I think his words were
"You BETTER start blogging".
Whew- like he is Louisana mafia or something~

So,
Even though I have projects up the kazoo
that I am trying to catch up on
I will do a "little" post today.
A VERY little post.

This has to be the most lit up playhouse
I have ever seen.

My son wrapped it with lights and
sent CJK out to say some
"magic words".
We are BIG on magic words around here.

So, as CJK got close to the playhouse
he said,
"ABRACADABRA"
and POOF the lights came on!

Can you see the city lights in the background?

CJK about fell over laughing.
Here is the moment of LIGHT 'EM UP.
And here he is going inside.
My son said he could NOT get him out of there.

Ummm...I am NO GENIUS...
but maybe he could have
TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS....
but then what does Nana know?

I'll be around later-
And the poem?
Here you go!.

I have a dining room update to show you
AND a mini-master bedroom redo.

I'll be back- you know I will.
Good enough, Ron?

The magically lit play house!!! Just precious.

She is back!!!!!!!!

Hooray!!!!

But she had better moderate her wild I-will-do-it-all-ness! Or I will "TAKE MY EARRINGS OFF!" -giggles-

That's a Southern lady saying, which I just learned, in Blog Land. Never heard it before, but from the context in which it was said, it means SHE MEANS BUSINESS! -gigggles-

So... Nana Diana must moderate her activities, or "Bossy Tessa~" with TAKE HER EARRINGS OFF!!!!!

-chuckle- Arn't ya' skeeeeered?????? >,-)

The near rhyme on that poem is quite something! LOL! What a great playhouse. You may know how to get him to come home again, but his daddy isn't willing to scar his son for life.

Yes! I'm happy to see that I am not the only one shamed into updating their blog...when they have a gazillion million things they must do! I'm always happy to see you, though!

Love the lights on the little house! My boys used to have a log cabin in the backyard and we'd string lights on it at Christmas time too. Such sweet memories! Love the mug too!

Such a pretty playhouse. Wish I had had one when I was a kid. Love the poem. Did you write it yourself?

Celestina Marie said...

Hi Diana, love the lights on the little house. How magical for CJK. I am sure he will remember this forever.
Love that mug too. Looking forward to your dining room update.

Blogger is glitching again and many have word verification going on today even when not turning it on. I think it is on mine too but I've been ignoring it and comments are going through anyway.

Have a great evening.
Hugs

Hi Diana, Firstly I love the playhouse lit up-so festive. So glad that Ron got on your case about blogging-I realize this is such a busy time, but girl you are missed along with your zany sense of humor. This week i get a root canal-oh how fun and next week I have to have blood work done and then see my GP-praying my liver numbers return to normal and then I won't have to see him every 3 mos. Hope you get everything done you need to do-miss you girl.
Hugs, Noreen

LOVE the enchanted little Christmas house! And so glad you're back - but still, please put yourself first - sometimes that means stepping back from what everybody ELSE is demanding from you! But then, of course, you are "Little Miss Popular" and there's lots more pressure on you than the rest of us! :)

Joy Junktion said...

Well, that is quite the lit up cottage, I'll say! Looks like lots of fun in the near future! Take care! Blessings, Cindy

Diana, that playhouse is adorable and the little man even more so. He looked like a little elf amongst those huge trees. These are precious pictures. Merry Christmas, Hugs Ginger

I was on the road yesterday and missed this. But - it's too cute. Especially the "What does Nana know?" part. LOL Too funny! It sounds like Nana has what you might call common sense. Something that there is a shortage of right now in the US. Be sure to hand some of that down to all of the grand kids. :-)
