Here's Our New Little Family Face

I spent last night at the hospital.
Mimi cannot lift anything yet so Nana
gets to hold the precious baby
while Mom sleeps...
and lift her to Mom when she is hungry.
What a job, huh?
So...
You want a quick peek at a sweet little face?
She was 6 hours old when this was taken.
(edited to add:  Mimi says she was
30 MINUTES OLD
when this picture was taken)
She just had her bath but still has
that "new baby look", doesn't she?
Look at those piano playing fingers!
I'll  be back soon with more baby snips and snaps.

Thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes.
I think Mom & Dad did good
and we are
NOT PUTTING HER BACK
WHERE SHE CAME FROM
no matter what Big Boy E says!

P.S. I forgot to say that when my granddaughter found out that she was going to have a baby sister, she just BAWLED. Now, 5 years later, they are best friends.....I'm sure E will be a wonderful big brother.

She is BEAUTIFUL! I knew she would be. But - she is even more beautiful than I had imagined. I wish you were closer and I could hold her - and maybe even take her pictures! I do hope you get newborn pictures. There must be a newborn photographer in your area. That sweet little face needs to be on many, many gallery wraps!

Oh precious!

Mmmmmm, Big Boy E is being perfectly normal I see. Good. What a crock it is, to an older sibling, to be told how "wonnnnnderful" it is, to have a new family member. Which for him, naturally translates to, having to share more of the family attention, with another small person! -chuckle- That's life. But it doesn't mean he has to like it!

Emergency C-sections are no fun and it can take awhile to recover. I hope she is well on the way to feeling better and able to enjoy her perfect family.
