PICK YOUR FAVORITE -Winter Tablescape

I haven't done one of these in a while
so I thought it would be fun.
I found several
WINTER TABLE SETTINGS
to show you here.

Your duty is to pick the one you like best
and VOTE on it.
I know SOME of you Martina have a hard
time picking just one but  please try!

I did a little research and the first time that
the word tablescape came into use
(as best they can trace it)
was on Sandra Lee's show
on the Food Network.
Who knew?
I always thought the word
TABLESCAPE was coined by
Martha Stewart herself.

Anyway-
Without further rambling here are your choices.

#1-
BEAR IT AT THE TABLE

#2
BABY I'M BLUE

#3
ANTLERS ON WATCH

#4
BARNSIDE INSIDE?OUTSIDE?

#5
SHIVER ME SILVER

#6
AQUA & RED ARE READY ARE YOU?

#7
ALL RIGHT WITH ALL WHITE AND GOLD

#8
BLUE SPARKLED BABY

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST
#9
FROZEN TO THE SEAT
CARE TO JOIN ME?
Okay!  Now it is up to you!
Which table would YOU like to sit at?
I'll provide the food and you provide the company.
I think we will ALL pass on #9
even as pretty as it is!

I'll give you the tally in a day or so...
meanwhile-if I can get myself in
gear I might have a little project
to show you tomorrow...
or maybe not....

  1. I really want to vote for two, but for some reason I am a rule follower, must be a left over from my Catholic school days. I choose #4

  7. Number 1, please.
And I call dibs on Sweet Cheeks sitting next to me.

  8. Number 4 'barnside or inside' is my favourite style and it looks like it would be easy enough for me to recreate. Simple, a bit rustic and how lovely it would be to dine with you in person (at any of the pretty settings.)

  9. I like the blue tablescapes. Hard choice but I will go with Baby I'm Blue....#2

  10. Okay, I like several, but will choose #3 and it is just country like me.

  15. You're making this very hard. I think my favorite is #1 even though I'm not crazy about the bears. Love everything else about it.

  16. Oh definitely #5. I love silver and white on a table.

  17. Ok Diana, I will be the odd man (woman!) out, as I chose #9! I love it, but only would actually sit there if you had some of those outdoor propane heater thingys like they have on restaurant patios. What's on your menu?

  18. How about none of the above? Not really anything I like here. Too much going on the tables. Where are going to put the food and you are right about the last one. Who is that nuts?
Hope you are feeling better today, but I would bet you aren't. Praying this passes quickly for you.
Love the bears in the first one.

  19. #4 for me, I'm a country girl at heart, and deep into my soul.

  20. #1 Just because it looks like fun! Plus I think I need some nature right about now. AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE NATURE OF SNOW! Need color! lol And maybe not lol.
I am not into the real fancy ones. Too clumbsy for that I guess! Would be afraid that I would spill something.

  21. #4, and I would be willing to freeze for #9 too! However, the nice roaring fire that is just out of the picture would be greatly appreciated.

  22. OOO. #2 and #8 because I love the blues. But the shabby, chippy side of me says I vote for #9!

    Great post!

    They are all nice though

  24. Ok I know you probably think Miss Neutral whites and cream here would pick #7 or #9 but nope I like the barn scape. Love the natural look to that and that table oh la la love that wood. So pretty. I vote for that one.

  25. I say #6.
I really love red and aqua. Besides, that plate looks big enough for all my food. HA!

  26. I vote for #3 WITHOUT the antlers on the wall and the window treatments! The table setting itself it beautiful. Fun post!

  27. #9 looks too cold, so, i'm going with the barn #4:) happy weekend, diana!

  28. Hi Diana, You do make it difficult to choose. After looking at them at for a bit, while they are all quite creative-I think I'd like to sit at #1-to see what the meal was. The others are so pretty and I imagine the food would be gourmet but 1 just looks fun!
    Hugs, Noreen

  29. I like #3! (I think I'm the only one.)

  30. #4 makes me sneeze so I'll go for #5 with some close runners up..

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hi Diana, well, there is something special in all but I have to go with #4, the Barn.
    Have a great weekend.

  34. Shiver Me Silver....elegant but simple!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Number 4 is my very favorite...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Lots of fun tables, but #4 stole my heart!
    hugs,
    Jann

  37. I know you thought I'd go for that red, but I'm smitten with the bears at the table!

  38. It's difficult for me to choose between #1 and #2. Love the whimsey of the bears, but the serenity of the blues is perfection. Decisions, decisions, decisions…….

    ReplyDelete
  39. LOVE LOVE table #4!! See Miss D I can follow the rules...I only picked one even though there was another contender...Ha! Guess you'll never know;0)

    ReplyDelete
  40. My favorite is #5 Shiver Me Silver! So pretty! Hugs, Leena

  41. #4, I'm a simple girl with simple needs, although.....

    ReplyDelete
  42. OH, I remember that tablescape that "Martha" did for her grandchildren last year. I have used those bottle brush critters too in a tablescape and love them so I will have to vote for #1.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Loving # 4! I picked the one that would get me most excited if I were invited to a dinner party. That's the one!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Barnside inside and out....although not the best for table conversation I just loved it....love anything with pinecones....but on second thought Paperwhites are suppose to stink when used on dining tables...I don't know if that's true but when daughter was planning her wedding reception and I asked Tavern on the Green to have paperwhites on the tables they said."Oh no no no.....they smell bad"......they probably just didn't have them........

    ReplyDelete
  45. The bear one is too stinkin' cute, but I'm goin' with #4.

    ReplyDelete
  46. At first I thought #1...,then when I saw #5 I was smitten...so guess that's the "winter" one for me,

    Blessings,
    Gert

  47. I LOVE the aqua and red table, but I'm going to have to go with "Baby I'm Blue." Blue china has always been the prettiest to me - I'm not sure why. My wedding china was even in blue.

Always love these posts, Diana, and it's fun to see which ones are the most popular.

    Love,
    ~Sheri

  48. #6 is my fave color combination :)

  49. Darn! I've not been around to visit my Bloggy friends in a while so I didn't get to vote in time for the tally, but let the record show I am lovin' #6. Tell me, who could resist the beautiful pop of red right here in the midst of dreary wintertime skies. Love that one!! Hope you're feeling better and I'm thrilled that your cute little grandson is well!!
