WHY DO THOSE KIDS NEVER BELIEVE ME?

I told the kids we were going to
THE OCEAN.
We spotted this along the way.
There it is-
THE OCEAN-
painted on the side of the building...
way out in the middle of nowhere.....

I told them we would stay here.
I told them we would stay in Room 6
What???  What do you mean
you don't believe me?
This has everything we could ever need-
including its own sewage truck.
And just look at the price.
We could even stay an extra night I told them.
I just don't understand all the eye-rolling
the accompanies everything I say.
You'd THINK there were expecting
a view like this!
I'm on my way home and I
will catch up with you soon.
(yes-those are sunburns)

You look like you all have enjoyed

yourselves. What beautiful family.

Love those tans. Safe trip home.

I think that looked liked more airbrushed the place.

My son used to do airbrushing similar. He did the wizzard of Oz
when he was 17 for a huge Mall.
For a childrens day care when parents when shopping. Kids could play in this one area in the Mall.

He airbrushed some of it and then painted it. A combination of both.

That was a well painted motel, it puts you in the mood even if you are miles from the beach.

I know that motel, it's on US Hwy 1 in Mims, Florida on the Atlantic Coast side. Not sure what your destination may have been but you have been treking around the east coast of Florida for real. You can drive straight up I 95 to Savannah!

Now where on earth did you find that place? lol! Been gone and have not had a chance to pop over and say 'hi'. Cute, cute kids! We went to the beach in Portugal one day and we all got a little burned too. So totally worth it!
