Saturday Prayers Please-Oh Please!

I had a whole different
FUN POST
planned for today,
but someone gave me a nudge
and so I am asking that
you pray for a couple of
people.

Many of you know and love
Tete
Her son posted for her and asked
for prayer.
For those of you that don't know,
Tete has had the burden
 of several health issues.
She  moves forward two steps
in recovery
and slides back one as she
conquers the ills that ravage her body.
And she does it
Without. Complaint.

She now has a pinched nerve
and is quite ill.
Please say a prayer and,
if you have just a moment,
pop by her blog and wish her well.
She is SUCH a good person.
You can find her here.

And...while you are praying
please don't forget my sweet
young friend, Jessica.
I talked to her mom-in-law
yesterday and her count has
dropped again.
A 10 point drop
since her last appt a month ago.
Down from 38 to 28.
She HAS to get to ZERO
to conquer this rare form
of cancer that is ravaging
her body.
I know God is listening to our
prayers for this beautiful
young woman.
And, last but not least,
let's not forget to pray
for the people that are
affected by the senseless tragedy
in Colorado.
Can you imagine going
to see a movie,
expecting to have a fun time,
sipping on a cold soda,
munching on fresh, hot popcorn,
then having a madman
open fire on you?
I am sure that some of those
hit died without ever knowing
what was happening around them.
God bless every mother, father,
sister, brother, family member
and friend that has been
touched by this tragedy.
This. This. is
the face of tragedy.
There are no more words
needed to explain that pain.

Thank YOU- ALL OF YOU-
for taking a moment
to bow your head and
lift up those that
need lifting up
right now.

Love you guys-
You're the best!

I am new here but I am praying for all of these concerns. Yesterday's tragedy in CO made me so sad. We live in a fallen world and it is hard to understand at times. I am so glad we have Jesus to help us through the sorrows.

Yes, that was such a senseless tragedy yesterday. We went and saw it yesterday. You go to have a good time. Not to worry about being murdered.
I will pray for these in need.
Have a super Saturday.

God works in mysterious ways and we just have to have faith that he loves us. I struggle with that at times...I saw the man in your photo (in Colorado) this morning on TV. He lost his son. I can't even imagine. I will take a moment right now and ask for God's blessing on all of us. Be safe.

Ho awful for this young women. Of course I will pray for her and her family.
The events in Colorado are horrible. I am glued to the TV and actually seeing my son on the scene of the apartment. Add him to your prayers. I can't say much but his involvement in this tragedy is heartbreaking.

Saw your icon on another blog and hopped over to check on your blog. Yes, I took a moment to life Tete, Jessica and the folks who survived the theater massacre and/or lost someone it it. Although the tragedy struck deeply - I think that the non-stop news chatter of all the this-es and that-s added to numbing to it already. I had forgotten to pray for them. I have now. Thank you for the reminder. Jenn
