Coasters And Coupons

Remember yesterday
I told you I would show
that there are many things
you can do with coasters?
You DID read that
yesterday, didn't you?

Well, I keep my promises.
There are many uses for them
besides keeping a
sweaty glass from leaving
a ring on furniture.

My friend, Lucille, said
she was excited to see
my tutorial.
Well, Lucille,
do I have a tutorial
for YOU!

Yes...indeedy...Ready?
I use COASTERS for
ENTERTAINMENT
while we wait for our food!

Come on, SweetCheeks.
Let's play a game.
Whut kind of game, Nana?
It's called
THE COASTER GAME
and you can go first.

Is everyone ready for this?
This is a
GUESS AS YOU GO
quiz.

See if you can figure out
what's what
BEFORE
I give you the answer.
Give up?
Fish with Gills

Elephant with short trunk.

Monkey with ears- (not far off there)

Minnie Mouse

Pirate

This is MOM -snicker-giggle-
ahem

Oh-and the
COUPONS?
Well, in case you didn't know.
Those are these bready
things on top of your salad.
LOTS OF COUPONS like this
make SweetCheeks
VERY HAPPY!

Hope you aren't TOO disappointed
with the
What Can I Do With Coasters
tutorial.
What were you expecting?
Roofing  for the Taj Mahal?;>)

I'm glad I hadn't poured my coffee yet, that last coaster of "mom" might have had me spitting it out on the counter again. You have so much fun with sweet cheeks.

The pirate face is a winner! Never a dull moment with SweetCheeks around. What a joy she must be. I'm rather fond of Coupons myself.

Hi Diana, What we do to entertain the little ones while we wait for food. A deck of Ole Maid Cards, paper and pencil and now I can add coasters to my purse. Sweetcheeks is so much fun to watch grow because you don't know what she is going to tell Nana. Have a great day and thanks for the chuckle before I go to work. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.

Oh, how cute was that?! Thanks for starting my day with a big grin.

Just wait until she starts school, you guys will be afraid to go to the teacher's meetings, wondering what she told on you...I like coupons on my salad too, along with sunflower seeds, what will she call them?

What a cutie!! Such a great way to keep entertained while waiting for the food to come out. So creative! :-)

The coasters at Chili's are square and you can build with them. kind of like making card houses. And I guess playing with coasters is more polite than people watching. That can lead to staring. And that is sort of rude. Hmmmmm.... let's see. I'm not sure if I like Minnie Mouse or the Mom impression the best.

LOL! The "not far off there" cracked me up! Your grandkids are so lucky to have such a fun and creative Nana!

Well, now - that might be an improvement to the Taj Mahal.:-)

Little SweetCheeks is truly a joy to be around!

Cutie pie Sweetcheeks made me laugh. With the coasters. Ways to use them.

One lady here on your page said wait till she gets to school.

Well my young Grandson is the same. You never know his actions or what he is about to do next.

My son said Braedon won Valvictorian of his class and Citizen award. So what ever comes out of babes mouth's may be of interest to the teachers and principal. He even prepared a speech himself and it was so cute and funny.Had everyone in stiches. So your little Princess is going to knock the socks off the schools teachers and principal one day. Be prepared and not shocked if she gets these awards. Love your blog as usual.

LOL- I thought you were going to use them as frisbies to attack the other customers! DH likes lots of coupons on his salad, too. At least she doesn't call them tampons.
Have a great day!

I must admit this was not what I was expecting, but I could actually steal, um, copy this "tutorial". So much fun. You always have me laughing.

Very clever. Isn't it fun to make up games with the grandkis - my favorite thing to do. How I miss them!
I think your coupons are actually croutons - that's what we call them out west.

You are such a cool Nana. Loved the Minnie Mouse and Mom the best.

I think "coupons" are the best part of any salad. They are my favorites. I'm not too sure about that coaster game though. You're really stretching the imagination with that one.

Okay, I was expecting something ingenious! Maybe not roofing for the Taj Mahal! Although I must say that SweetCheeks has a lot of imagination. Anyways, thanks once again for the laugh. It's good for the soul! SweetCheeks looks adorable!

Sweet Cheeks looks most adorable with the Mickey Mouse ears. I'm going to remember this game for future restaurant trips with the grandchildren. Where do you come up with this stuff? You must be the smartest Nana ever!

Sweet Cheeks makes a great model and is quick on the draw. When the kids were young I used to take all 4 of them for their doctor check ups. The wait was LONG, so we played a game called "Guess the animal". They had to imitate an animal without making a sound. Oh, the memories! Makes me long for silly games!

Jane
